SHARKSKIN is applied to metal at a speed of 3200 feet per second. A precise mixture of hydrogen, oxygen and argon gases are pressurized, ignited, and expelled at high velocity with mixture of pure tungsten carbide particles heated to more than 4000 degrees farenheit. At the point of impact with the parts being coated, the super heated particles are travelling at a speed beyond Mach 1 ( the sound barrier ).

We are comitted to producing a superior product, and we back that up with superior service. Unlike other coating operations we have a grinding and machining facility on site. Not only can we coat anything made of metal, we can fabricate any custom part you need. We can spray a wide range of abrasion resistant HVOF coatings on various metal surfaces including beryllium copper, aluminum, and nickel alloys.
When welding alone isn't enough you need a SharkSkin coating repair. We can fill in cracks and coat repaired areas with SharkSkin making the repaired area stronger and more durable. We also have a full service machine shop on site and can fabricate parts as needed.
The result is a repaired metal part that will perform like a new part for a fraction of the cost, and our service and fast turnaround means when parts break downtime will be kept to a minimum.

Cleanliness is imperative to ensure quality. Our facility is so clean it looks more like a laboratory. In fact we do conduct experiements and research on site as part of our product development program. The state of the art SHARKSKIN facility is located in the heart of the North America manufacturing district: Wallaceburg Ontario Canada.
We have installed a 24 filter Torit air purification system. A massive air evacutation system running at 13000 cubic feet per minute, pulls all airborne particles out of the SHARKSKIN spray booth. Our primary fuel is hydrogen. Hydrogen gas is made from pure H2O. When it burns it produces only carbon dioxide and water, which is what is needed to make more hydrogen.

The sales rep Bryan was very professional and had us pick our color and chips, The crew Jake, Ricardo and Vadim were very professional and polite
The crew also made sure we knew how long to stay off our new slip free garage floor.

I had Shark Coatings do my garage, front entrance, and lanai. The sales rep, John Gizzi explained the product, how the work is performed, and answered all of my questions. I expected a 6 week wait but got done within 2 weeks due to schedule changes. The team Jacob, B, and Kane arrived on time, walked me through the process and got started. They did an excellent job,. I was surprised at how quickly they finished given the scope of work. The floors are beautiful and I couldn’t be happier.

I've been wanting this for my front porch for a couple of years now. Met with Noah for an estimate only. I just wanted an idea of the cost. He did his job so well (not pushy at all) that I ended up saying yes to this option to improve my curb appeal. They have a finance option (3rd party) that I couldn't say no to. They came sooner then expected to do the job, which was exciting. It took less than 8 hours to complete the work.
