Services
The Aapex program consists of 40 hours of training - 20 hours in-class, 10 hours behind the wheel, and 10 hours homelinks. During the hours of in-class instruction and 10 hours of private one-on-one in-car instruction, our emphasis is on collision prevention. We believe that there are no such thing as "accidents", the vast majority of so called "accidents" are predictable and preventable.
Ontario's Graduated Licensing System (GLS) allows new drivers to earn full driving privileges in 2 stages. In the first stage, G1/M1 (car or motorcycle) Level 1, drivers learn and practise under conditions that reduce the risk of collision. Once new drivers/riders have gained more experience, they must pass a road test to enter the second stage, G2/M2 Level 2, with more privileges.
I used to have anxiety while driving. Patrick really helped me get through those fears and gave me the confidence to obtain my full licence! His laid back approach makes driving a breeze! I would highly recommend Aapex to new drivers or to those who want a refresher. I had the privilege of having Melissa as my driving instructor.

Giving Aapex anything but 5 stars would be a mistake. Everything from in class lessons to in car, you know you’re getting the taught by the best. In car lessons with Jack have been great, he is such a good instructor I tell everyone it just feels like you’re driving with a friend, he does a fantastic job making you feel comfortable even when faced… with stressful situations on the road. If you get to request an instructor, you couldn’t go better than with Jack. I highly recommend Aapex to anyone looking to get their licence or wanting to improve their driving abilities

I would like to say “Thank you!” to AAPEX!!! I really enjoyed my online classes with Melissa, she is great! It’s very convenient to study from home! Thanks Dan for making our classes fun! Also, my driving… classes were excellent! Even though, I had different instructors, Simon was the perfect coach and mentor for me! He has the unique ability to explain things properly, so you can actually understand and do it right. He is making the roads safer by teaching his students (!) and we will keep all these advices forever and apply on practice every day. I also booked a G2 prep

Thank you Tammy! The in car lessons for our daughter were extremely beneficial !!! She completely felt better driving with Tammy than her parents! Driving in and around Niagara gave her confidence and experience on her neigbourhood roads & highways. I really feel that because of the in car lessons and Tammy's composed teaching ability that our daughter passed and received her "G license" on her first try. Scheduled lesson had to be moved due to unfortunate circumstances. Charged cancellation fee due to not providing 48 hours notice. Appointment was made the day prior for the following day, meaning it was not possible to provide 48 hours notice. I was never made aware of the cancellation fee. Actual lessons are great, the customer service is scummy though. Would recommend AAPEX being more upfront about their hidden fees in the future.

Don't waste your time with this place. And if you do, be smart and don't pay up front for all your lessons. Otherwise, you have to deal with mandatory "cancellation fees" if you try to reschedule. The reason I had to sit down and write this review: if you try to ask for a refund on lessons you paid for upfront but didn't take, you're not… getting your money back! (which has been my personal experience so far trying to get money I stupidly paid up front for lessons I couldn't take due to a health issue).
Here's the long story:

At 75 I had to retake my driving test. I took a 2 hour refresher course with Aapex and passed. My instructor (Amy) was great. she was very honest with me and also very encouraging. I needed to learn parallel… parking and it was easy with the way she instructed me. My 2 hour lesson went so fast I could hardly believe it. My time with Aapex was a good experience. I would definitely recommend Aapex Driving School to everyone. Thank you Aapex for this experience. Carolyn
