Services
Providence Care is situated on the traditional lands of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe People. Providence Care is Southeastern Ontario's leading provider of specialized care in aging, mental health, and rehabilitation.

Continuing the legacy of our Founders, the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul, Providence Care consists of Providence Care Hospital, Providence Transitional Care Centre, Providence Manor long-term care home, and more than 20 community-based mental health and support services across the region.
Providence Care is committed to the professional and personal growth of its employees as well as the growth of knowledge as a whole through research and innovation. Thus, we offer a wide range of career development opportunities for our staff - both in-house through training and mentorship as well as externally by means of employee bursaries that support a portion of your tuition or professional conference fee.
Quality of care is an on-going priority for Providence Care as we find new and better ways of providing services to enhance our clients' experiences and achieve even better clinical outcomes. Providence Care participates in regular third-party administered satisfaction surveys across its clinical services to provide a snapshot of how patients, clients, residents and their families perceive their quality of care.
Providence Care Hospital is one of the first publicly-funded hospital in North America to fully-integrate long-term mental health and psychiatry programs with physical rehabilitation, palliative care and complex medical management. The entire hospital has been designed to be welcoming and inclusive of all people, no matter what age, ability or needs.
Providence Care's long-term care program is provided at Providence Manor - a 243-bed home located in downtown Kingston. The charitable home provides care for residents who have stable medical conditions, but require 24-hour nursing care. Residents are cared for as a person with your own unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.

Absolutely terrible communication with their patients concerning the visitation policy. No one there seem to understand that when the visitor policy changes, they should inform the residents....so they can, in turn, let their guests know.

I just wanted to thank Providence Care for taking such great care of our parents. I really don’t know what we would’ve done without the wonderful and caring staff. I can’t even describe the pressure they have taken off of us. Thank you all so very very much.
