Well known for the quality of our forced air heating systems, in 1986, we were approached to install a European radiant hydronic heat system called HeatLink. Recognizing that the type of pipe and manifolds had a huge impact on the quality and longevity of radiant systems, after considerable research, we decided on Pex pipe and a flow balancing manifold from HeatLink.
Inaugurated in 1981, our plumbing division has been serving Alberta's New Home Market for over 30 years. With a dedicated crew of journeymen and apprentices, WM Schmidt is well prepared to take on the challenge of your new home. Played phone tag with Quinton for a few hours, but when I got a hold of him, he was fantastic. He said he’d have a tech out to my house shortly and advised me on the warranty status of my furnace. After that call, he called me back to walk me through the issue with my furnace himself. He educated me on how my Coleman unit works, and didn’t rush me at all. A gem of a guy, and my new go-to furnace company.

Disappointed with the time management skills and lack of communication from this company. I was told they would be working on the outside of my business during the morning to fix our heating system.
When the day arrives, they frantically text and call my business complaining that no one is there to let them inside. It would have been a simple process to call the day before to let us know but they chose not to.
After I arrive and unlock my doors for them, I am told that they will 'eventually' come inside. What was the rush? They spent most of the day on the outside on the roof anyway. I'm then

Please save you time and find someone else! These guys are a waste of time. Unprofessional, broken promises, tardy, and OVERPRICED!!! I wish there is a negative star because that's what this company deserves! Very disappointed about them. Customer service is just way too low. All they care about is money!

Had to use this company for warranty repairs for a new home.
My first encounter was not too bad, the person was on time, and professional. I was told my issue was not warranty related, but rather an option that was missing in the house. He provided me with a quote to perform the upgrade, however, was significantly overpriced compared to other quotes that I had gotten. This is no reason to provide a bad review, but I am glad I did not go with them to perform the upgrade as the customer service level just dropped the next two encounters.
My second encounter dealt with warranty issues. The plumber

I'm very happy with the service! Kevin is very knowledgeable, and he explained things in a way that we can easily comprehend. We were having issues with hot water supply at home. We told him our experiences and he was able to figured out what was the problem, right away! Service only took him less than half an hour. Very quick and neat service! 👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

WM Schmidt installed our furnace when our home was built. We went back to them a year later for our air conditioning and then again when we finished our basement. The blower on the furnace went. Coincidentally I'd spoken to a service rep. at the company 4 weeks prior who told me to leave the fan on 24/7 for better air circulation in the basement. We are a 3 time repeat customer. They referred us to someone else, who couldn't do the work and in turn referred us. I requested a call back from WM and surprise, heard nothing back from them. Had to find someone on my own. December and no furnace and

I am rather unsure of the honest intentions of this company. They installed a gas line to my back deck during the construction of my new house, but tightened the plug so badly, that no matter what I try, I cannot remove it to connect my BBQ. I called them for help, and they said they will charge me $125 for just unscrewing the plug they over tightened. What an easy way to make money!
