We aim to develop leaders in our community through the enjoyment of hockey and to be a national leader in developing life champions. RESPECT IN SPORT FOR PARENTS: Parents are required to complete the Respect in Sport program. Please check your Respect in Sport account to see if you are required to recertify.

Any parent who has not re-certified, their child(ren) will NOT be able to attend any evaluations or try-outs until their certification has been completed. If you have a child that is new to hockey and you already have a Respect in Sport Certificate number, you will need to add this child to your account.
Services
We aim to develop leaders in our community through the enjoyment of hockey and to be a national leader in developing life champions. At MHMHA we strive to constantly adapt and change with the landscape of minor hockey in Alberta. Hockey Alberta is just now promoting half ice hockey in Initiation and MHMHA has been offering 1/3 ice in Initiation for years.
We aim to develop leaders in our community through the enjoyment of hockey and to be a national leader in developing life champions. Any medical condition or injury problem should be checked by your physician before participating in a hockey program. This program must be presented at the first team meeting of players and parents and all pledge commitments must be signed and returned to the team manager.
Parents must complete the mandatory Hockey Alberta Respect in Sport (parent) course before we take the registration. Once the Respect in Sport (parent) course is completed, first-time players' parents are to contact the office at (403) 527-5773 for information on how to register. We will require a birth certificate and Alberta Health Care number.
U11 (Atom) CAHL is for players born in 2011 and 2012, based on evaluations it will determine where you play. Tryouts will be held at the start of each season to determine the rosters of both teams. Independent evaluators will be donating their time throughout the weekend to aid the association in creating the most competitively balanced teams.
This symposium is held to help introduce our program to new coaches, refresh existing coaches, and certify coaches prior to the season starting. This course is to be paid for by the user and then MHMHA will reimburse you for the cost once completed. It is recommended to finish the online portion of the course prior to the classroom portion.
