Pavey Law

Our law firm is named after Don Pavey and Brian Law. While it has used that name since the fall of 1995, the firm continues law practices that trace their roots back to the mid-fifties in the City of Galt and to the early thirties in the Town of Preston. Don Pavey was born during the second world war in Revelstoke B.C. His Dad was stationed with the RCAF in Iceland and his Mom had returned to her home town.

Luba's practice focuses almost exclusively on Family Law and she also assists the firm's clients in the areas of Wills and Residential Real Estate. Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Luba practised extensively in the area of Family Law at a full service law firm in Kitchener.

As part of her Family Law practice, Luba assists clients with a wide range of family law issues, including child custody and access, child support, spousal support and property division and equalization claims.Luba applies a practical, common-sense approach to the resolution of family disputes allowing her clients the benefit of timely, cost-efficient and reasonable settlements.

Stephen acts for many individuals and businesses in the practice areas of Business law/Corporate law, Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, Residential and Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Leasing. In his Business law/Corporate law practice, Stephen's clients range from new start-ups to large and established private corporations.

Meagan has extensive experience in civil litigation and her practice includes business and commercial law matters, employment law matters (both employer and employee), estate litigation and administrative and health law. Meagan joined the firm in 2015, having practiced with Fogler, Rubinoff LLP in Toronto as a partner in its Litigation group prior to moving to Cambridge.

Ioana joined the firm in 2020, having previously worked at a firm in Kitchener for several years. Her practice is focused on the areas of real estate law, corporate/commercial work, wills and estates. Ioana assists clients with a variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances.
