Services
We have always dreamed of owning and operating a family-style resort in Northern Ontario, so when the opportunity presented itself in 2017, we enthusiastically jumped on the opportunity. The previous owners of Como Lake Resort had operated it for 29 years. Through good old fashioned Northern Ontario hospitality, they grew a loyal guest base and a reputation for a family-friendly and outdoorsperson paradise.
Between the natural landscape of forests and lake surrounding Como Lake Resort, you'll have no shortage of outdoor activities to enjoy while on your getaway. Area maps and guided services are available at the main office for those looking to explore off resort. Como Lake has excellent fishing for lake trout, whitefish, northern pike, small mouth bass and walleye.
We offer clean cabins that will accommodate groups from one to ten people. Each cabin is equipped with electric lights, hot and cold water on tap, three-piece bath, electric refrigerators, propane cooking stoves, propane heaters, full kitchen amenities, and complete bedding. Each cabin overlooks the lake and has its own dock.

We had the most peaceful enjoyable stay at Como Lake and enjoyed the hospitality of John and Tracy. Our first night on the water we hit large walleye and had fresh fish every day of our stay. Early mornings, with loons calling, fog on the water, and the feeling of having this gorgeous wilderness to yourself was the perfect get away. John also guided us on two very exciting fishing nights where we caught exactly what we set out to catch (walleye, bass and pike). I look forward to returning to enjoy this perfectly serene and rustic place.

Stayed here for a night with a couple of buddies on a motorcycle trip. Normally you would have to rent for a week but they had a cabin open and allowed us to stay. Probably one of our best stops on our trip. Loved staying in a traditional cabin (with plumbing). Lake was beautiful and the owners were great hosts. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
