DLP Custom Kitchens was established by Dan Patterson over seven years ago to offer superior custom built kitchens and cabinetry to homeowners in the Rideau Lakes region. Dan is an experienced cabinetmaker. He discovered a love for woodworking in high school wood shop. There he was encouraged to enter a province-wide skilled trades competition - his work ranked highly in the cabinetmaker division.
He completed the "Furniture Technician" program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, graduating with high marks and placing on the Honour Roll. He gained experience with a large cabinet company in Kingston. In 2009 he started his own business so that he personally could plan, build, and install each kitchen project.
