Coming from modest beginnings South Shore Glass was established in 1979 by J. Preston Beairsto and Bradford Brown. The original services of the small retail company included auto glass, glass repairs, storm doors and windows, and commercial entrances and windows.
The company is currently headed by the second generation of the Beairsto family and has steadily grown from a small-scale glass shop to one of Nova Scotia's leading glazing companies, focusing on fabrication and installation of architectural aluminum. Not forgetting it's roots, South Shore Glass continues to provide retail glass services to the community that supported the growth through the past 30+ years.

Cannot say enough good about this company. I cracked the glass window in my wood stove. A friend recommended South Shore Glass so I gave them a call. They ballparked that type of repair from $100-$175; they asked me to remove the wood stove door & bring it in.
They cleaned the door, removed the old gaskets, replaced the glass and gaskets for $64.63 all in, in a couple of hours. I could not be happier.
