Coombs Country Campground is a 34 acre RV park and campground where you eat Irish stew straight from the can and get up at the crack of noon. Located 5 mins from both Parksville and Qualicum Beach on the way to Tofino we are close to shopping, golf courses and beaches, although we're pretty sure a day or two of burgers, beers and a bone-hard bed will significantly dull the urge.
But you're good. This is the life of a camper. It's what you signed up for; the smell of red cedar, children shrieking, and the familiar burn of poison ivy spreading down your legs. Every one of our 100 fully and partially serviced campsites promises a unique long-lasting memory that will cause red-faced denials and belly laughs once the therapy sessions kick in.

Services
You can choose from sites located on or near the lake, campsites in the forest or pull-thru sites. A limited number of unserviced tent sites for 2-4 tents are also available around the lake. The base campsite rate for single fully serviced or partially serviced sites includes 1 RV, 1 tent and 4 people.

We have been at this campground for 18 months. The management team is very helpful and attentive to the campers needs. The maintenance team is full of dedicated staff keeping the grounds in good repair. There are nice walking trails which meander around the park. The pool, playground, lake area and arcade are well-used by families during the summer months who appear to enjoy these amenities. We would highly recommend if you want a getaway location for your RV and yourself that you give this campground a chance.

We had a wonderful time at Coombs Country Campground! We were greeted with a a smile and felt very welcomed. We rented a fully serviced lot beside the playground and our friends stayed in a tent on the same lot. The playground was very popular, so many kids having a wonderful time. We took advantage of the little lovely lake as well. At the end of our stay the pool opened which was very exciting for the kiddos. We will definitely be coming back.

It's always my favorite campground to take the family. The lake is wonderful, there are so many activities on the grounds in addition to the local market, and the staff are world-class. Every year they make us feel at home-away-from-home and before we know it, the weekend is over. Can't wait to see you all again soon!

Awesome staff, very hard working, kind, caring and they go above and beyond for their campers. Well maintained and great facilities, highly recommended for families and it's pet friendly.

My family and I stayed at CCC for just shy of a week in July and we absolutely loved it! The campgrounds, site, and amenities were clean and in working order. The staff were super friendly and the little lake was awesome! We had a blast swimming, biking, at the arcade and little park and will be back for many years to come! Thank you to everyone who works there for making our stay so incredibly enjoyable.

We spent a fabulous week at Coombs Country Campground. The staff is super friendly, the bathrooms are really well kept up and the lake was great for swimming. The pool was not open (we were there the last week of June) Most spots are larger than in most private campgrounds. We already booked our next stay!

We had a good stay here, and on the positive side, the bathrooms and grounds were super clean. Also, the campers respected the quiet time , which was nice. We were just a little disappointed with our site. It was very narrow, so we had to pull our Unit forward and camp at the back, where there was also a campspot. Basically no privacy whatsoever. All campers were respectful, but... a little too crowded.
Perhaps we were in too small a spot, but hard to judge from a map. Made note of good sites for next time, because we'll definitely come back.
Loved the little lake. We didn't swim but enjoyed
