For two decades of instructing Dance in Fort McMurray, we have become one of the most well respected, fun, creative, dance facilities in the Region. Services
This dynamic class for 4 & 5 year olds teaches Hip Hop in a fast-paced class with age appropriate music. Dancers will learn different dance techniques and explore their movement. Hippity Hop is an Introduction to all things Hip Hop for your little groover. A great place to begin learning Hip Hop terminology and style!
This class is for those students who, outside of their ballet training, would like to experiment with emotions, musicality, and creativity. Often termed "slow jazz" the dancer develops a sense of center and performance. Recommended for students taking a ballet class. This Program is for the Acro student learning the fundamentals and beginnings of Acro Dance.
Kim has been teaching Dance and providing Choreography for over 20 years. She is knowledgeable in all genres of Dance. She choreographed Keyano Theatre's 2011 Musical "All Shook Up". She has taken many professional classes in LA, Florida, NY and Las Vegas to further her knowledge. Kim has completed the DEA Teacher Training Syllabus Program.

Generation Dance Studio runs on a calendar month, which means that the tuition remains the same whether there are 3, 4, or 5 classes in that month. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month and considered past due after the 5th. We do not pro-rate for missed classes. All accounts are required to be on automatic payment.

My girls have been with GDS for 8 years. They thrive in the atmosphere that Kim and her team create. They not only learn technique, they are challenged daily to work hard, building internal drive and resiliency, but most importantly having fun. The group of teens that assist are talented, passionate, and are tremendous role models. Whether your child is wanting to dance once or twice a week, or be a competitive dancer, they will find a home with great programming and instructors at GDS. And the year end show is second to none!
