At Hucal & Edwards Orthodontics, our doctors and staff work in unison to deliver a comfortable and enjoyable orthodontic treatment experience. We provide customized treatment plans that are specifically designed for each individual patient. We focus on all aspects of orthodontics from straightening teeth, enhancing smiles and correcting bites.

Some individuals in my specialty will tell you that they have always dreamed of being an Orthodontist. Not me. In fact if you asked me when I was a kid what an Orthodontist did I could honestly tell you that I didn't have clue. Having grown up on a farm, I loved the outdoors and had a mechanical sense that drew me to working with my hands gladly leaving books unread and untouched.
I am Central Alberta born-and-raised, as I grew up in both Ponoka and Camrose, Alberta. I spent many years playing a high level of hockey, but realized that University was for me. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 from the University of Alberta, and then my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2010.
We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient's orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve.

I had the most amazing and supportive experience at Hucal and Edward's! Dr. Edward's supported my journey that included orthodontic correction as well as prep for jaw surgery and implants. His support and coordination of multiple procedures with multiple doctors was stellar. This was a long term venture and with Dr. Edwards support, skill and knowledge it was an extremely positive and rewarding one. Dr.Edward's was always thorough in his explanation of my choices and he would always ensure that I was comfortable with the direction of my treatment plan. We have only been for an initial consult and follow up, moving into treatment phase soon. They have been so kind, both front desk staff and Dr Edwards. Having a lot of ortho experience myself, as a child, I HATED going to my appointments. Hated my orthodontist. This office is so welcoming, and warm. They provide you all the information you need, and answer all your questions. Top notch!

Can’t say enough good things about this business. they are so kind and accommodating, and can get you in quick with an emergency! i had braces for two years and never had an issue, and have had to go back for a few a things after i got them off (wire, retainer), and they’ve been so amazing. can’t recommend them enough!!

My experience with Dr. Hucal and his staff has been absolutely exceptional!! Dr. Hucal has gone above and beyond throughout the course of my treatment. He is very caring and personal and his professionalism and knowledge is exemplary!! In all of my visits his staff, not surprisingly, maintained those same standards! So impressive!!!! I would highly recommend this office for anyone needing orthodontal care!

I can not say enough about Dr. Hucal. I have fought with my teeth my whole life and have had many orthodontist consultations from breaking my jaw to have 4 adult teeth pulled. Dr Hucal was amazing from the start, he let me know the pros and cons of everything, gave me options and asked for my input. In the end no broken jaw and I got to keep all my teeth! If you want your teeth to be fixed the right way go to Dr Hucal. Other places will give you cheaper/ faster quotes but I can tell you in the end the job will not be half as good! Your teeth are with you for life don’t risk going anywhere else

This place is so welcoming. They make you feel comfortable, explain everything in detail and give you options. They do not pressure you but rather help you make the best choice for you and/or your child. They have friendly staff and Dr Hucal was so amazing. I highly recommend Hucal and Edwards if your needing an orthodontist.
