I was not pleased with my service as I only had the chance to make it as for as the reception desk on my first and only appointment with Bower Place Eye Centre due to issues they had with direct billing to a prominent insurance provider.
I attended the Bower Place Eye Centre in Mid December to book an appointment for a regular checkup. While booking my appointment I ensured with the receptionist that they did direct billing to insurance providers as this was something very important to me as I do not like having to mail / e-mail in receipts and having to wait to have my money reimbursed. As well

I started coming all the way here from Calgary as I stopped in one day due to an emergency and had such great service I keep coming back. The doctors and staff are all very friendly and the manager Cindi is very informative and was able to answer all my questions. They are always able to direct bill to my insurance so I never have to submit it myself. I would highly recommend this place!

I recently visited Bower Place Eye Center & Consumers Optical to inquire about getting my son some glasses. I walked in after work, hoping to book an appointment. Thankfully, the staff was very helpful and quickly squeezed him in. Once he selected a pair he liked, they gave me valuable direction on which type, and size they recommended would fit… him best. They did some pre exams and then a thorough examination of his eyes. Each and every staff member that helped us was great with my son and forward with me.
I look forward to returning to pick up my son's glasses once they are ready

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Male optometrist gave me a very strong prescription that damaged my eye while working on computer. Female optometrist is better but I feel sorry for her that she works there! CIndy the owner is VERY RUDE! Unprofessional. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY and not your health or great customer service! I had several problems on different occasions here. This is the only place that actually wants to CHARGE ME to get color SAMPLE contacts! Just samples to see how I like them. This place should not be in service and should be closed down! Will report to the owner of the mall as well.
