Founded in 1974, Eskimo Point Lumber Supply is a Nunavut based retailer and distributor providing a wide range of goods and services to Northern communities where resources are often times limited.
Originally started in Eskimo Point (currently known as Arviat), EPLS has grown substantially over the years in order to meet the changing needs of our customers. The first division that was established was our Lumber Yard, owned and operated by the St. John family. We have grown from 2 employees in Arviat, Nunavut, to over 100 employees within 3 different locations to serve you.

Northern Networks Ltd. is the majority Inuit owned division of Eskimo Point Lumber Supply. During our many years of Arctic experience, we have been involved in many community enhancement projects such as building roads, water reservoirs, housing pads, docking facilities, sewage lagoons, airport runway resurfacing and gravel crushing.
EPLS owns a number of residential and commercial properties in Arviat and Rankin Inlet. We have a mix of 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom houses and apartments available for short term or long term rental. We also have commercial office space available as well as heated and unheated storage space and garage facilities.

The folks at EPLS are nothing short of fantastic, we dropped in looking for some rental equipment not only they provided us with we needed and also a superior customer support from the operator all the way to the mananger...if you are in Rankin inlet or Arviat and you need help with a project check them out...
