The word Chiropractic comes from ancient Greek and means 'done by hand.' Chiropractors are specialists in manual adjustment of the vertebrae of the spine and other joints. Adjustment helps relieve pain and restore normal functioning to the spine, joints and supporting structures of the body.
Chiropractors are also trained to prescribe therapeutic exercise, provide nutritional counseling, and recommend rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies. An adjustment is a highly skilled and precise movement usually applied by hand to a joint of the body. Adjustments return motion to the joint to optimize function.

Proper motion is vital to the human body - an incredibly complex machine wherein structure affects function and function affects structure. Any lack of motion, whether due to an old sports injury, a postural imbalance, or a car accident, will cause changes in the bones over a period of years.
These slowly occurring changes often compound unnoticed until another event, such as bending over to tie your shoe laces, triggers years of accumulated problems and causes pain that can seriously affect your quality of life.

Sit or lie in a quiet room. Take a few slow breaths, a count of 5 in and 10 out. Now focus your mind and pay attention to your feet. Slowly move up to your calves, then knees and thighs. Move your attention to your hips and lower back. Your abdomen, chest and upper back. Bring your attention into your shoulders, down your arms to your elbows then hands.

I have been receiving wellness care and maintenance for over a year now.
I feel more relaxed and above all my energy is balanced throughout the day. If you make Chropractic Care a monthly visit like you do with visiting a dentist every six months, you will see the difference in your overall health and well being.
