Our classic cabins are a glimpse back to the past. They were the original buildings on the site and their classic red tins roofs are an iconic symbol for the resort. While they have been repainted, re-roofed and even rearranged(the whole cabin, not just the furniture!) So if you want to experience simple living and want to disconnect from modern life for a while, then these cabins won't disappoint.
Beaver Point Resort is located 16kms South of Burns Lake, BC in the heart of the stunning Lakes District. While our region is gorgeous, Google map doesn't seem to work as well as we would like. When you reach Burns Lake, you will be driving down a hill, on your left (south) is the Lake View Mall with an Overwaitea Food Store, (Save On Foods) turn left at the lights.
The Lakes District is full of incredible recreation opportunities including hiking, fishing, swimming and of course our world class mountain bike trails. The Village of Burns Lake has plenty to do if you know where to look, check out the Village's recreation offerings below. Activities include an indoor climbing wall, fitness facility and endless nature trails to discover.

Very nice people that run or own the place. I was kinda stuck on a bike trip and they gave me a nice place to set up my tent.

Outstandingly beautiful and meticulously run! Very clean. Great value if you are travelling through Burns Lake or just need a place to kick up your feet for awhile. Lots of spacious RV, camper, and tent hookups sites. All sites are surrounded by trees, and are mostly on the lake. Not much to say negatively: Bring your own water, or boil their tap water (theirs is not potable). Washrooms with running water are minimal, but there are several very well kept outhouses for greater convenience, as-well-as two sets of showers at either end of the campground for ease of access. This campground is definitely

The people who run it or maybe even the owners were great friendly and knowledgeable. Great fishing you can rent a 14 ft aluminum boat which was great.

Beaver Point is a spectacular campground and cabin resort. The cabins sit out on a ridge in the middle of the lake surrounded by trees. It is just so serene and beautiful.

We love coming here, Brenda (owner) is a gem and definitely takes pride in ensuring her guests are enjoying themselves. We visit there every May long weekend and will continue to do so for many years. RV spots are a bit tight so you better get along with your neighbour :).

Absolutely one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Gorgeous Lakeside RV sites and the owners are fantastic people to deal with. Extremely reasonable rates and I never thought I would say it but the lack of television (cable hookup) is definitely an asset. If you're heading up RT-16 towards Alaska this is a must stop!

Great staff and owners. Stayed for two weeks for work. Some crew here others in town. Price beyond fair for both a cabin as well as for a full service rv stall. Rented a boat to fish. Well worth doing the price is great and the lake is stunning. Would recommend staying here over any other place around. Commute to town is short and every spot on site is very close to the water. Can not beat waking up to the sun rising on the lake.
