Born and raised in Lethbridge, I want to support the families of this city I love so much. I have been around the Hemel House community my entire life attending the day homes as a child myself. To support all day home providers in order to provide the best care possible while keeping their business up to the standards and regulations.

The purpose of a Family Day Home is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating home environment for children. The Hemel House Day Home Program is a network of approved family day homes. Screening processes (criminal record check, medical check, personal references and Child Intervention check).
Unannounced day home visit which is a minimum of one hour up to 2-4 hours and includes:Observation of Provider and child interactions, documenting provider strengths observed, child development.Implement Licensing and Accreditation standards in each day home as well as any changes to these standards.
