I-Kandy opened its doors on Salt Lane in April of 2005. The concept was simple - a friendly shop in which clients from 18 to 100 would feel comfortable and receive high quality, custom designs in any style. Three years later, we opened our piercing shop, just across from the tattoo studio.
The response was bigger and more positive than we ever could have imagined, and in 2009, we moved both shops to a much larger space on Fraser and 203, where we remain today.Over the years, our clientele has grown from friends and referrals to thousands of clients from the Fraser Valley, and well beyond.

2. Wash gently (with clean hands) using your fingertips and the lather from soap and water. Remove all ointment applied at your tattoo session. DO NOT apply the bar of soap directly to your new tattoo! 5. Shower as normal, being aware of the water spray on your new tattoo; try to keep the water from spraying it directly.

I had jewelry stuck in my rook that I couldn’t get out on my own. The front staff worked with Mihela to squeeze me in on the same day, which I really appreciated.
When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the shop was. Mihela was a pro with a light touch, quickly taking out my jewelry and putting in a new hoop with minimal pain.
Overall, this was a great experience and I’d definitely return for a new piercing.

I will NEVER get pierced by anyone else!! Mihela was absolutely amazing. I was so nervous to get my conch pierced, but she talked to me the whole time and calmed me down - super easy to talk to! I told her how I want other piercings (like two high lobes) and she listened and mapped out my future piercings better than I could have imagined. She did the piercing so quickly and gently - barely any pain, and it turned out perfectly. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will definitely be back.

Mihela is so gentle when inserting jewellery. She has pierced my daith and tragus and makes the process nearly painless. I have been to other piercers who are much more cumbersome and awkward, which has caused pain and discomfort. I will only go to I-kandy for piercings and inserts now because my experiences with Mihela have always been positive.

Very professional staff. I got my belly button pierced and it took no time at all. I was in and out within 30 minutes (this included time to pay as well). It was very clean and I didn't see any red flags. They also have a great selection of jewelry.
The only thing I will say, is I wish they had a debit/credit machine. They only accept cash or e-transfer. Other than that, I definitely recommend going.
