While Island Steel is in the beginning stages, the management team brings over 65 years of combined experience in the construction industry. Our experience incorporates all aspects of steel fabrication and installation process. We will continue to use our expertise and knowledge of the industry to provide our customers with a high quality product that they have grown to expect.
Our fabrication shop is fully equipped to handle projects of any size. With over four acres of space, our facility is ideal for a large stock of steel. There are two main fabrication shops. The largest building is dedicated to structural steel fabrication and the second building for miscellaneous metals.
Island steel Ltd. is a leading supplier of ferry loading ramps. Our latest deign build project in Yarmouth, NS was a great success. The new ramp services the CAT ferry for the international crossing between Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to Portland, Maine. Although this is our first "new build" under the Island Steel Ltd. name, many of our staff have vast experience with construction and maintenance of ferry ramps.
