At Optical Image, we care, we laugh, we have fun, we push the limits to expand our passion for what we do. Our Optometry office is equipped with advanced technology and education for early detection of ocular diseases like macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye disease. We work closely with an excellent web of referral specialists in co-managing pre and post surgeries in cataracts, retina, and refractive surgeries.
We don't currently sell eyewear online. We wish we could share our amazing glasses with the world but you'll have to come in to the store to shop. From established classic brands like Ray-Ban to the latest on the scene like Andy Wolf. Qualities we look for in a brand are creativity, interesting materials, craftsmanship and above all - good value. Brands range in price from fun and affordable to handmade haute couture. Our Opticians will help you find the perfect pair for your face shape, style and prescription.
Normally we can bill your insurance company directly on your behalf, so that you do not have to pay upfront. However we are at the mercy of those companies and their online portals and occasionally and rarely they request that you have to submit on your own. In that case you would have to pay upfront and submit it to the insurance provider on your own.

I am brand new to Swift Current. I very clumsily sat on my glasses and broke them at home. I called and the people at Optical image were able to get me into see the optometrist on very short notice all arranged over the phone: they even invited me to come down the same day and they put a temporary fix on my glasses on-the-spot and didn't charge me anything for the fix! Now I have a temporary fix that will last me until my appointment.

Glasses broke on road, call and explained situation was told to come on in and they would see what they could do.
First time in the store and was very impressed, one of the staff was helping an older lady with a really nice selection of glasses, another one came up to us and asked if we needed help.
Bag of glasses parts and arm was handed over and we were told to hang on her would see what he could do.
Not more then 5 mins later he comes back with what look like a new pair! Not only had he fixed them but he cleaned them and removed the sticky tape stuff!!
Best place if you need glasses or repair

I heard the ad on the radio that optical image does free dry eye assessments. I called right away as I had been suffering from terrible eye problems for months. I would wake in the night and be unable to see because my eyes did not have a lick of moisture in them. They were chronically inflamed, I often felt like I had been in a street fight and they were so light sensitive I wore sunglasses indoors. Dr. Godenir did my assessment and told me I had a severe case of blepharitis. I also had a cyst on my eyeball. The doc treated both and gave me home care. Dr. Block has been my optometrist for a few years now and I have been very pleased with her approach to eye care. I have also had Dr. Godenir in the past and was also happy with her level of care. Both doctors, along with the A+ staff make coming here a pleasure, and will continue to do so for years to come.

Came in with my youngest daughter at the start of September, it was her first eye exam and she was very nervous. Impressed with not only how the doctor dealt with her but the girl before the doctor as well she calmed her right down made it a fun experience . Great selection of kids frames, I will be changing eye dr and recommending to other family’s as well.

I had no plans to look at new frames yesterday but I happened to walk by so I stopped in. I got instant service and within 5 minutes the perfect frame was found! Usually I try on a 100! And, I had an eye exam booked for later in the day to verify my prescription. Done and done very well!!! I highly recommend this vision care centre!! 👀
