At an early age, I have learned the wonderful benefits of massage the traditional way (called Hilot) on alleviating musculoskeletal afflictions. That is why I pursue my career's passion and succeeded in earning my degree at Ontario College of Health and Technology.
Mason Health Centre in Hamilton is proud to offer low intensity laser therapy to our patients. Using laser diodes set to a specific 808nm wavelength, we are able to treat damaged tissue using photon energy. The energy is then absorbed by the mitochondria, increasing the amount of ATP it produces, which in turn promotes healing.
