We've transformed our business to better serve you with online payments now accepted. We also have gift certificates available for purchase online (redeemable on the phone or in person). The dining room is currently open with limited seating as we also offer free delivery, curbside/drive thru pickup for prepaid orders, and our full service seasonal.
We were excited to jump onboard when our manager, Cassandra Burbine was inspired to create a vegan burger sourced entirely from local ingredients. Not only did it sound delicious, it also supports other local businesses, and of course a great cause, with a dollar from each burger sold going to Campaign For Kids, where you.

The Edible Art Cafe is an award winning restaurant and community hub in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. We offer creative and locally sourced food, along with fresh baked goods, local art, and live music daily. We also have a popular line of "Grab & Go" frozen take home meals, and recently added options for people on the Keto diet, as well as vegan, gluten free, and dairy free offerings.
With virtually everything in the cafe being hand made and on consignment, we're happy to support our artists' creative endeavors by paying out 70% on consignment sales. New artists are encouraged to drop by the cafe anytime, or get in touch via email to share their work. The tables themselves are also works of art.
The Edible Art Cafe Grab & Go frozen meals were a thing before the cafe even existed. Ariell had been one of the first vendors at the Wolfville Farmer's Market as a little girl, becoming well known in the Annapolis Valley community for a variety of her food products over 17 years. Upon returning from Hawaii with a husband, and plans for launching the cafe, the baked goods slot was no longer available at the market.

Have tried countless times to have a good experience here. Not sure how the coffee always tastes so watery. Last time I visited I thought maybe a second pot of water had been put through the same coffee grounds. I really want to support but haven’t had a good coffee, latte or cappuccino yet unfortunately.

Three different sandwiches, each was incredible! The curried chicken was loved by both of my companions. They also shared a ham and roasted red pepper melt... Loved that one too. Hot and fresh! I make it to trying to be more vegetarian on a good day, but took a leap and tried the vegan wrap. Blew me away! So delicious and I would eat this every day... You might not think just a sandwich would be so filling, but it was. Lovely atmosphere and staff today. Lots of take out options too. Took home a brownie that was huge! He loved it. Can't wait to come again and try more!

What a breath of fresh air!!!
Home made sandwiches, beautiful art, and live music.
Fresh desserts, amazing staff, great atmosphere, oh and amazing staff!
Everyone one was super kind and friendly, ready to help in any way possible. The prices are very fair for the gourmet quality of the cuisine.

I love Edible Art! One of my favourite cafes to go to in the valley. In my opinion, they have the best salad you can find in the valley. They also have awesome prices, great treats, and strong coffee! They have 5 soups for 20 dollars you can get and have for lunches that are SO delicious! It is a great atmosphere filled with beautiful art from local artists and musical entertainment is sometimes provided while you enjoy your meal! 10/10 would recommend stopping by while in the Annapolis valley.

An excellent place for lunch! The staff are super friendly and very efficient. The food is very tasty with a good variety of choices. We picked this place as our favourite spot we ate at during our two week stay in the Annapolis Valley. Local artists are on display and entertainment is provided while you enjoy your meal. It does get busy, but that's because it is such a cool spot.

We've eaten lunch at Edible Art two days in a row, it's so good. Day 1 I had a bowl of broccoli-cheddar soup that was a whole new genre--a delicious, fresh, genuine homemade soup, not that gloppy stuff you're used to. Day 2 I had the most beautiful, fresh, colorful salad, truly visual art. My adult companions recommended the breakfast burrito, chicken curry wrap, and havarti mushroom melt. And the kid platter made us all jealous: a grilled cheese made on an English muffin, with a gorgeous fresh fruit cup and a decorative little bit of salad on the side. Might have to go back again

Love love love this little cafe. The food is healthy, home made and the price is very reasonable. My favourite is the curry chicken wrap with salad and dressing on the side. There is local art for sale, local musicians that play each day for your enjoyment. There just isn't enough space here to talk about all the great things Edible Art Cafe has to offer. You need to go and find out!

My husband and I visited here on our honeymoon and decided to come TWICE!! The food was great and plentiful, the servers were personable and attentive, and very interested in our travels, and there was live music! (A man playing guitar and singing Simon and Garfunkel songs.) I'd recommend sitting at the counter just for the socializing! Great great great place! It became a home base of sorts when we were in Wolfville.

We came here for a casual lunch on a lazy day and left very happy with our choice.
The decor is bright, clean and airy, with lots of local artwork on the walls. Some of the tables are natural wood pieces with stone inlays which were interesting. In the back corner of the restaurant they have a section where they feature live local music from 12-2 pm.
Their menu has both in house dining and take away (look for the big fridge that says grab and go). They have plenty of drink choices, along with baked goods to choose from if you just want to stop in and use their free wifi, chat with friends etc

What a gem! This is absolutely worth swinging by if you're on your way to u-pick blueberries or other activities in the area. Open 9-5 most days with live music at lunch time Monday-Saturday from 12-2 pm, they have a short menu of excellent sandwich and soup options for a light lunch. French baked goods were coming and going as we sat and looked round at the bright fun artwork and open attractive space. We tried the curry chicken wrap, excellent, the all-day breakfast sandwich with cheddar and bacon, disappeared quickly, and the soup of the day, chicken gumbo served with two slices of multigrain

Fabulous hidden gem. Had the lunch salad with soup of the day, Maple Squash, exceptional taste. Salad was fresh with berries and pumpkin seeds. Service is friendly and very fast. On top of that they have a freezer so you can take your favorites home. Love this place. Oh yes and there is live music to boot. Free wifi too.

I came here with my husband and mother-in-law for a late lunch on a rainy fall day and had a fabulous meal. It turns out that the cafe is in my MIL's old school, in the old music room! So, of course it makes sense that they have a lot of live music there.
We didn't catch a show, but we enjoyed a lovely, warming lunch that artfully showcased fall ingredients. We each enjoyed generous portions of soup with a sandwich or salad. My mushroom melt featured luscious Havarti and flavorful sautéed mushrooms on a toasted ciabatta roll, and I savored every bite. My curried coconut soup could

At first glance I wondered why the restaurant is set in so far off the road. Then I read somewhere that this is the location of the former high school. So that made sense to me.
This is a big yet cozy restaurant, smartly decorated with colourful art, beautiful wood dining tables and well stocked bookcases. I came for lunch and ordered the Havarti Mushroom Melt which others had recommended. It consisted of red pepper spread, havarti cheese, spinach, feta, sun dried tomatoes, and sauteed mushrooms served hot on a grilled ciabatta bun. It was simply delicious, I was thrilled about how good it
