Since 1989 Ernest Johnson Antiques has been offering discriminating clients a select inventory of 18th - 20th century English, European and Asian Fine & Decorative Art and has established the reputation of maintaining what is arguably the finest selection of antique period furniture, fine & decorative art & accessories in the National Capital region.

Accumulation of some of the most unique items to have previously passed through our doors throughout the years. These items are no longer available for sale. A selection of items that were chosen on the grounds of their enduring cultural, historical, or evidentiary value. Antiques that show a degree of craftsmanship, collectability, and/or attention to design.

Ernest Johnson Antiques has been providing appraisal services of fine art, furniture & accessories for both private and corporate clients for over 20 years. Among its corporate clients Esso Canada, Public Works & Government Services Canada, Foreign Affairs & International Trade Canada, and the Canadian Mortgage & Housing Corporation.

With over 30 years of continuous business experience, Ernest Johnson Antiques has made it our policy to verify the condition and authenticity of all our items to the best of our ability. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and will gladly respond with additional images and condition reports on items as requested.

The buyer pays the shipping, handling as well as insurance for their purchases. The buyer is responsible for any and all duties, fees, such as brokerage fees, customs fees, etc. We recommend that all shipments be insured.

Should a buyer request an item be shipped un-insured, those instructions must be received in writing prior to shipping, at which point Ernest Johnson Antiques will in no way be held responsible for any loss or damage to that item while when shipped or in transit to the buyer.International clients are tax-exempt on goods shipped out of the country.
