Fantastic experience! Staff was amazing and helpful. Put together but friendly atmosphere. Food is top notch. Great for every occasion.
Edit: I've seen some people complain about "being removed" after a period of time and I just want to let others know WE GET AN EMAIL ABOUT THIS BEFORE EVEN GOING. Due to Covid they set times for party goers and they tell you before your reservation. I do not know why these people are hiding that fact while posting a bad review. You are given MORE than enough time to enjoy your dinners and deserts, then you leave at your exit time. Very clearly stated in the emails

Best restaurant experience in Saint John, hands down! Our server Michael was professional, personable and incredibly welcoming! The owner stopped by our table because she heard we got married in Italy! We had a wonderful chat and then she bought us each a digestif for dessert. Definitely a spot you need to check out if your in Saint John

4 star food, 5 star service. The food here while not perfect, was close and it all tasted incredible. My brother's meatballs and pasta was huge and we were able to take some to go. It was also amazing. Perfectly cooked pasta and the 2 large meatballs left nothing to be desired. My salmon risotto was delicious. The only thing was there was a bit more liquid in the risotto than I am accustomed to. However, it was taken care of by the large piece of salmon on top with the perfectly crispy skin, so maybe that's the point. I ultimately gave this location 5 stars though because our server was wonderful

The service at this restaurant never ceases to have me leaving feeling impressed and like I made a great decision to book a table here. Great selection of drinks, food and knowledgeable staff on site to help recommended which wine to go along with your dish. The atmosphere is always great and clean and friendly staff. I would absolutely recommended this place!

Atmosphere: to be short, it was dark. Like pretty lights but a little too dark for my liking. The wait staff was very friendly and always had our water filled and dishes taken up. Speaking of dishes, they took the first set of cutlery we had for apps and replaced it with the same + a sharp knife. An annoyance and waste.
Game hen: the hen was perfectly cooked and simple with just salt I believe. It was the highlight of the dish. The gnocchi tasted like glorified tater tots. The little bit of brussel sprouts I got were super salty. The squash was randomly spicy and lacking salt

I'm a foodie and I'm picky with my italian food. This place wowed me. The service was impeccable, the warm towel when you get there is a lovely touch. The lasagna was perfection. The offered prosecco and strawberry on the house for our anniversary. I couldn't be more pleased with our dinner at Italian by night. The decor is beautiful, romantic, the waiter was polite and attentive. Everything was perfect!

At another restaurant we had mediocre food the previous night and was looking for something to reset our vacation experience. We picked well. This restaurant is a true gem and we were lucky to get our reservations. The place was packed, so I would encourage just dropping in. The seating is spacious and you feel like you are in a very intimate setting though there are many diners. They had coat hooks next to our table so we could sit comfortably.

Came here with some friends and had the best time. The space is large and open but seemed intimate at the same time. And it smelled Italian as soon as you opened the door.

The staff is quite attentive, even when the place is bustling with customers. They tend to be very friendly and accommodating.
The menu has a good variety of flavorful food as long as you don't mind a heavy hand with the salt. Unfortunately, the pizza was basically inedible because the exterior of the crust had salt added as well, but the rest of the food was great, even though it was also even more salty than most places. The flavour combinations of each dish is inventive

Second time in St John, but first time at IBN. Really nice place. A little upscale with people that are down to earth. I ordered an Osso Boucco which was properly cooked accompanied by potatoes presented in a special way. I recommend. You have a decent selection of wine by the glass. I finish with a cappucino accompanied by a limoncello. Wonderful. Judging by the crowed, it is a very popular spot.

Came here with friends. We had a really good dining experience. Servers were professional and friendly. Food was also really good. I got the calamari which was excellent. As well as one of the pizzas which was also quite good. Overall, definitely recommend this dining experience and I would go again for sure.

We walked in without reservations and were seated right away. The hostess was friendly, out going, enthusiastic, and provided great support for the wait staff. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient.
We started with mussels which were delicious. My wife had the fish of the day and I had the fettuccine Alfredo con pollo. The fish was prepared perfectly according to my wife, and the Alfredo was creamy and the chicken was grilled to perfection; done but still moist. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

We came here after receiving many amazing reviews from friends and co workers and we definitely agree with everyone that this place is spectacular! We arrived with no reservations on a busy Sat night and the hostess Elizabeth, pulled some magic and we are so grateful for finding us a spare table! So our first impression is that this restaurant is amazing!
Our waitress Lydia was so friendly and helpful, again adding to the experience!

Starting with the food, it was absolutely delicious and freshly made. I would say the portion sizes are quite generous. And finally presentation was not overlooked, the dishes were plated simply and looked great.
