I have been using Hubley's since I got my old and predictably problematic house, when I was ignorant about home ownership and couldn't afford much. They have always been straight-up with me about repairs, even when it meant losing out on possible work ("you can really do that yourself, you know"). We have had more than a few frozen and burst pipes, and busted water boilers. Hubley's always showed up quickly and did great work. Highly recommend.

Early morning hot water tank breakdown resulting in hot water leaking out of the top and bottom of the tank and spraying all over the laundry room. Not the best way to begin ones day.
One of my big concerns in dealing with many contractors in St John's is their unreliable ways of poor service and questionable workmanship.
Not so with Hubleys; the person on the phone was professional and instructed us on how to shut off the water and power to limit any further damage or any danger.
Although it was 9.00 am in the morning they had a crew at our house by 1.00 pm with the replacement hot water tank

We had a plumbing back-up on a holiday (of course) and after I called one company who refused to come out, I remembered my father-in-law used a plumber for work he was quite pleased with and it turned out to be Hubley's. I called Hubley's and they were quite clear about the price range on a holiday and arrived within an hour. They fixed it quickly and the final cost was less than the lowest amount they said it would be. The two men who came out were personable and got to work quickly. Thank you Hubleys!

Within 10 minutes of contacting my property manger of my hot water tank issue, this company called me and set up an appointment right away. Within an hour I was called again by the technicians letting me know they were close. The technicians were respectable and friendly. Talked me through their quick diagnosis of my hot water tank and replaced it speedily. Would recommend.
