Helping Hands Personal Support Services Ltd is a privately owned non‐medical home care and companionship service, offering help with a whole host of day‐to‐day activities.

Our operating areas are Greater Victoria and the Saanich Peninsula. We provide services primarily to seniors and their families ‐ those living independently or in various supported environments. Whether our clients have family or friends close by or far away, we pride ourselves in supporting the whole family unit.

Back in 1984, in Lancashire, UK, Janette, together with her sister and mom, operated a small residential rest home ( assisted living ). As our lives intertwined with our new 'family members' we spent precious hours supporting and encouraging one another through times of individual difficulty and sorrow, and celebrating everyone's joys and the delights of life.

Senior Support Report

Compassionate non‐medical assistance with a broad range of day‐to‐day activities. We are here to help and ensure our clients have the freedom and home support needed to enjoy life to the full. Our clients receive consistent home support service from the same Helping Hands Companion, with whom they can develop a bond of trust and friendship and share special times.

Near or Far Report

Many families in Canada are separated by hundreds if not thousands of miles. Children and parents communicate by phone and sometimes computer, but face‐to‐face visits can often be limited by time and distance. Today's families are busier than ever and schedules are pushed to the max.
