We have 30 years of experience in sales, installation and servicing of air to air heat pumps, ductless splits, refrigeration systems and geothermal heat pumps.
Like conventional HVAC systems, a mini-split ductless system locates the compressor and condenser outside the house. But ductless systems eliminate the need for a basement or attic located evaporator unit and bulky ductwork by using thin copper tubing that pumps refrigerant directly to discreet wall mounted units inside.
Ductless mini-split heat pumps consist of an indoor and an outdoor unit connected by copper tubing and an electrical supply. Both are controlled by a hand held remote control. The outdoor unit collects heat from the air outside and transfers it to the indoor unit. In the summer the system works in reverse to transfer heat and humidity outside providing a comfortable cooled living area.
