Michelle joined our team in 2003. She succeeded in completing the optometric assistant course in 2004. Michelle fills a variety of roles in our clinic including front desk, dispensing, and edging lenses in our in house lab. Michelle enjoys camping and spending time with her family. Ashlee has recently rejoined the Olds Eyecare team in 2019 and we are so happy to have her.
Dr. Dayna Jones was raised in Calgary, Alberta. She began her university career at St. Mary's College before entering into the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo. She graduated with honors in 2007 after completing her externship at John D. Dingell Veterans Affair Medical Center, where she was exposed to a wide variety of eye pathology.
Dr. Tanya Sitter grew up in Airdrie and is now living in Carstairs, Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc. in 2000. Following her desire to become involved in health care, Dr. Sitter went on to the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and graduated with honors in 2004.
Originally from Costa Rica, Dr. Wessels is now proud to call Calgary home. She completed her Optometry degree (with honours) from the University "U Latina de Costa Rica" in 2003. She practiced there for 3 years before moving to Canada after which she became licensed in 2008. Since then, she has been practicing at Bonavista Eye Clinic and Olds Eyecare Clinic.

Popped in to have a look at some glasses and ended up with a new watch and wireless charging dock! The selection of lifestyle items was a nice surprise. The associate Emily was fantastic help and very welcoming.
She directed me try on all kinds of gear and showed me all the new products. I will be back again soon - Apparently I can't read. I visited the sun warehouse a division of the eye warehouse. I do go to Olds eye care and the staff there are all beyond amazing! I don't think I need glasses I just can't read. Thank you to everyone

My husband and I have been going here for years! All of the optometrists we have seen are so fantastic! They are so thorough and take their time. They work great as a team as it’s the one place where we feel comfortable seeing a different optometrist each time- they have always taken great care of us! The staff are friendly and helpful with providing different options that suit our needs each time! We appreciate the variety of price options available from every day basics to high end brand names

1. When you make a mistake, listen to the customer and fix it. 2. Stop overcharging. Just got new glasses at Eye Wearhouse: cost me $72. You charged me around $700, with my insurance plan. You charged me the second time you tried to fix it but it was your mistake. 3. Go slower in the examination process. You whizzed through it. Olds Wearhouse took twice as long with more questions. 4. On the second visit to try to fix the problem, my time was wasted by people looking at computers and cell phones. And telling me to go home and eventually they'll work. The Wearhouse glasses worked first time. As

This was an incredible and potentially life-saving experience. After not having access to a family doctor for 12 years in Ontario and British Columbia, Dr. Dornstauder alerted me to an issue with one of my eyes and referred me to a family physician. Within a week I had been diagnosed with Graves Disease, which is totally treatable, but if left untreated will eventually kill you. THANK YOU! In addition, every single person I interacted with in the clinic was excellent! (Thanks Wendy for getting those dilation drops in my eyes!) I highly recommend OEC to anyone that needs a eye exam or is looking for the absolute best selection of frames and or sunglasses!
All of the doctors have years of experience and really take the time to ensure that your eyes are healthy with their thorough eye exams along with their knowledgeable, friendly and caring staff to assist you with finding a frame that compliments you. Currently, I live in the city and I still drive to Olds to get my eyes checked because of the outstanding customer service I have received from their clinic over the past 29 years and incredible selection of current styles

Olds Eyecare was very modern and professional. I believe our Dr was thorough in her exam, but when I pressed for more information/clarification, I think our communication broke down, and I left feeling a bit frustrated about that. Thankfully, my kid's eyes are nearly perfect. :) They did however let me take home a pair of loaner glasses to see if they would be helpful, which I appreciated.

We have been going to Olds Eye Care Clinic for the last 10 years or more. Love the Customer Service. The Doctors are amazing (with our Fav being Dr. Sitter:) The selection for both kids and Adults frames is great. With 3 out of 4 of us in our family needing either frames or contacts, we appreciate being able to get great quality and service in one stop.
