The cabins are older and have its share of cobwebs, but the owners have done renovations and added decor to make it look homey. It’s cute and quaint, but don’t expect exceptional cleanliness.
The lakeside amenities are really nice- canoes, SUPs, and rowboats. This resort has been a favourite of ours, but the campsites are no longer tent-camping friendly as that has been turned into an RV jungle. The cabins are okay. The pool and hot tub are also gone, so hopefully something else will be put up to replace them.
Great location.

Cute and relaxing stay. Love that our cabin was fully stocked and had even some movies/books/games to get into for the rainy days we were there. The sandy beach is great and loved how there were canoes and paddles boards to use. I just wish they would update the mattresses as they were pretty uncomfortable; can't speak for every cabin, but ours were not great. Otherwise a great place for a family stay!

We love coming here! It's been an annual tradition for our family for over a decade. I would give them 5 stars but unfortunately this year our reservation for the cabins (which we made over a year ago) fell through, and we had to shorten our stay by a day and then play musical cabins, then supplement with 2 nights at a hotel, in order to make it all work.

Our RV parked in a campsite with a protruding rock that scratched the grey water bank piping on the bottom. After communication, Ellie, the co-owner of this campground, acknowledged the fault from their side of not removing this rock or giving a highlighted mark. She speaked nice words and paid for all the repair costs. I do appreicate her professional treatment and good attitude towards this accident. Will return next time!

The website advertises a camping experience, quiet and in nature; however, when I arrived, I realized that 26 of the 28 RV sites had been rented out to people who seemed to have been living there during the slow season. The space was very cramped, with less than 3 feet on either side of us between or spot and the RVs next to us. One side of our site was only a couple of feet away from our neighbor’s pile of garbage.
I am very glad that these folks were able to find a spot to stay long term, however this absolutely should be advertised on the website so that visitors can decide whether or not

Great place to stay on Salt Spring Island. We stayed in cabin #3 and it was modern, renovated, clean and spacious enough for 2 people. Great view from the patio facing St Mary’s Lake (which was surprisingly warm for this time of year). The owners who run the grounds are also very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there is no more pool which would’ve made this place perfect. The beach and dock area was very nice as well. It might be one of the better ways to enjoy the lake.

We've been to this place several summer's in a row. It's a great place for people of all ages. We rent a cabin every time we go, and play in the lake a lot. The lake is great for paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, swimming etc. The place is kept very clean and the host are great! Highly recommended.

Spent some time in Cabin#3 and it was so lovely and had everything we needed. Unfortunately the resorts hot tub was out of order but we just spent some time looking at the stars in the beach instead. Very small and quaint - camp grounds are clean and the area is very quiet. Mind you I was there during the slower part of summer season - beginning of September. Have a car or rent one to get around on the island

Was going to give it 4 stars because of the lack of privacy and hookup issues at the campsite section but staff were more than welcoming and accommodating so they more than made up for it! Would definitely come again.
Few notes to consider if camping, bring a good length water hose and power cable (50ft is more than enough). Some sites are on the wrong side so longer houses and cables are required(but has been there since the 60s so what can you do). Dogs arent allowed on the sand beach or in the water. We will leave our dog at home next time, it's not fair having so much fun in the water and
