Services
Our knee high ninjas program offers toddlers and kindergarten age children the opportunity to explore the basics of martial arts. Through fun engaging activities, we work to create a long lasting love of martial arts in the youngest members of our Guelph Family Martial Arts. We love working with our knee high ninjas on their respect and physical health.
We've been providing martial arts programming for children 7-12 years-old that allows them to focus on physical fitness, but also explore the mental aspect of martial arts. Our kids program teaches children discipline, respect and perseverance. We work with children to instill self-confidence and maintain an optimal level of fitness.
Our youth martial arts program focuses on peaceful conflict resolution and perseverance to set them up for success in adulthood. We strengthen core values that are fundamental to martial arts and work to strengthen not only the body, but the mind as well. Our youth martial arts program is facilitated by World Champion Nathan Skoufis, who shares his passion for martial arts with people of all ages at Guelph Family Martial Arts.
We offer adult martial arts classes for adults looking to perfect their skills, or just looking to get in shape. Our adult martial arts program is designed for all fitness levels and helps you achieve your goals through hard work and dedication. Additionally, we work to instill the fundamentals of dedication, discipline and perseverance to our adult students in the same way we do for our younger students.

This studio is awesome, we signed up over covid. We heard about this program and studio from many people like many of you. They are very patient, caring and true professionals in everything they do. The accomplishments are well-known but the dedication to this community is remarkable. My little ones are very shy and they took the time to ensure they felt comfortable.

Great program it is not very often your area has a world champion instructor and even less do we see that instructor teaching every class but that is what happens at GFMA. The instructors are excellent with beginner students and more experienced students. It is perfect for recreational or competitive martial arts. As soon as you come in they make you feel welcomed and part of a family. The instructors give everything in every class, they go all out to make sure every student enjoys themselves and succeeds. The program teaches many life skills and connects the physical and mental side.

Totally professional, all the success is well deserved. We contacted the studio about a trial session and even the way they answered was thorough and provide details on everything. When we went into the studio our son was too nervous to enter the class with the group, so an instructor stayed with them and tried some simple drills by the side of the training area to get him more comfortable all done with amazing patience they did some kicking and punching. We’ve had him in many activities no one has ever done this ever. Above and beyond really.

This program is really impressive my kids have both loved it. The life skills they teach in the student creed that include modesty, courtesy, integrity, self control, perseverance and indomitable spirit are really great. They also help keep the workout fun and teach valuable skills in the martial arts. Also the way these instructors interact with the children is special with a very positive attitude and really do care. The studio is clean and professional and it is no wonder that it has been voted as the top studio.

Continuing to set the standard of excellence for a martial arts studio and instruction. Martial arts instructors before we prehistoric in their approach yelling or being mean to discipline students. I tell anyone to go to a class at this studio, the instructors do not need to raise their voice. They are patient and calm. They gain the students attention through respect and building a relationship with each individual as they are, an individual. This program is years ahead of anything even relatively close. This is what you get when you have world champions that have been involved in martial arts

I went to high school with Nathan Skoufis and he is quite an inspiration. He is a good person who has used his success to help others. He is so down to earth, he will sit and talk with you genuinely so humble. All of the success of this studio is well earned and deserved and really couldn’t happen to anyone better. We looked for a martial arts studio and heard amazing things about GFMA Guelph Family Martial Arts. We decided to check it out so we stopped by the studio. When we first walked in we noticed how clean it was, the only martial arts studio I’ve ever been to that did not smell like a gym. We noticed how professional the studio was set up, it is bright and inviting. The instruction was amazing. There is a genuine effort to make a positive change in all students lives that are a part of the studio.
