Student Visa is issued to International Students on the basis of Study Permit, which they get following their admission to study at a Designated Learning Institutes (DLI) in Canada. Study Permit and Student Visa are two separate things. Study Permit is a permission to study in Canada, whereas Student Visa is kind of Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), which allows you to enter and stay in Canada.
Visitor Visa is a kind of Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), which you may need before entering Canada. Most of the foreign nationals need permission from Canadian Immigration Authorities to travel, visit family and friends, do business, on transit through Canada or visit Canadian Attractions Events etc. like Museums, National Parks, and Canada's Historic Sites.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issues Work Permits/Visas to foreign workers under Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).The main categories of TFWP are High Skilled Workers, Low Skilled Workers, and the Seasonal/Agricultural Workers etc. These workers should have an approved job offer and work permit before applying for temporary resident visa.
This program is mostly designed through Provincial Nominee Program in certain provinces for graduates with valid qualification from eligible Canadian Universities or Colleges within the last three years. The Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC)-International Graduate Category of the BC provincial Program (BCPNP) can help you gain Permanent Residency in BC.

The best immigration firm I've worked with! Rajendar Parmar and his experienced team are very helpful, informative, and responsive. It's clear they care about their clients & provide tons of helpful info, each person at the firm has a personal relation to immigration law which is apparent in their interactions. They do a fantastic job at letting us know about potential risks while still having a positive attitude, they always tell us and show us they will do everything they can to win our case. Love this firm! Highly recommend Invision Immigration Consulting Ltd!!!
