Services
Due to changes in the insurance coverage for gymnastics activities, Gymnastics BC insurance will no longer permit the use of trampolines during unstructured programs. All trampoline apparatus will be closed during drop in and birthday party times with mats and signage, and this rule will be strictly enforced by supervising staff.
Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application. The Polarettes and Polar Tumblers Gymnastics Club is Yukon's only gymnastics facility; with over 1000 active youth members and thousands of casual users annually, the Polarettes strive to inspire a foundation of excellence in our community.
The Yukon Gymnastic Association (YGA) is the Territorial Sport Governing Body responsible for the governance, promotion and development of gymnastics in the Yukon. We are comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors who meet once a month and we exercise jurisdiction over Yukon gymnastic clubs as delegated by Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique, the governing body of gymnastics in Canada.
We believe in that an active start gives kids the confidence they need to stay active and healthy for life. Why not get your little one movin' and groovin' in the gymnastics club! It's basically a giant, squishy, brightly coloured playground; amazing for motor and sensory development. Enjoy bright colours, silly songs, socialization, sensory play and motor development (think crawling, climbing, standing, rolling and bouncing).
For the 2021 to 2022 season, we've changed how drop-in works. This means that if your child has a membership, they automatically will get free drop-in for the entire season. If you are a small family (2 people, for example) or your children already have standard memberships because they participate in classes, we have the single-person drop-in membership option.
