Originally from Moose Jaw, SK, Katie Bassett received her Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Alberta in 2003. Katie then received her Master's in Disability Management from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2012. Finally, Katie received her Graduate Certificate in Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of Florida in 2016.

FCE's are the single most reliable measure to determine if a successful return-to-work is possible - as it is inherently a thorough and accurate evaluation process that documents an individual's residual physical abilities, level of effort expended during testing, reliability of reports of pain and limitation, and it is an overall gauge of feasibility for employment.
