Happy Hearts Tent & Trailer Park
The Bruce Peninsula is a great vacation destination and what better way to add to your adventure than to go camping! We would like to host you and your family here at our park where you can make wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you're tenting, bringing a trailer, or staying in one of our camping cabins, we would love to have you as our guest.
Services
All of our RV sites are back-in sites, which means you will need to back your trailer or motorhome into the site. Most RV sites have a gravel pad and can accommodate everything from pop up trailers to large motorhomes. Seasonal guests have access to WIFI, the swimming pool, playground and other campground amenities.
There are covered mattresses on the beds and you will need to bring your own bedding or sleeping bags. All cooking supplies and utensils, anything used for meals like dishes and cutlery are not supplied. There is no running water in the cabin, but the common washroom facilities/showers are located not far from your cabin.
Trees & Wildlife: Do not destroy wildlife, trees or damage property. Do not gather or remove fallen limbs for firewood in the forests surrounding the campground. Do not cut branches or peel bark from any trees. No outside firewood! Transportation of firewood is a common way for invasive species to spread.
There are a couple of cruise companies that will take you there. You can either just do the cruise and enjoy the ride or you can get dropped off on the island, do the hike and the boat will pick you up later. Both options take you to see the shipwrecks. Cruise companies: The Blue Heron Company and Bruce Anchor Cruises.
This is a request for a reservation at Happy Hearts Park. For inquiries only please email. The cost of the first night and reservation fee will be charged to your credit card if a site is available. You will receive a confirmation email at that time. If we cannot accommodate your request, a member of our staff will contact you shortly.

We just purchased a new RV and it was our first camping trip! When we arrived we realized we forgot a lot of items. The owner was most accommodating and he helped us by giving us tea towels and wash cloths and we purchased a few items from the store which was well stocked! The internet service was good and all the services on the lot worked great. It is close to town for riding a bike or walking. It was a great experience and we hope to come back soon!

Without telling the whole long story of our car breakdown and needing help with that as well as extra nights to stay... Let me just say the people at Happy Hearts really care about their customers. They were helpful, kind, and all around great human beings.
Also the campground is fantastic! So five stars from me. Great job guys.

We had an amazing time at Happy Hearts! We stayed in the 5 person cabin and it was equipped with 4 Muskoka chairs, a fire pit, picnic table, broom and dust pan inside, a table and chairs, microwave, and mini fridge. It also had a charcoal barbecue outside.
The campground has lots of fun amenities like mini golf, peddle carts, a good sized pool, a playground, and a nicely stocked gift shop.
The campground is maybe 4 minutes from the main strip in Tobermory, so it was so easy to get around. I'd definitely recommend going here if you're looking for a great family campground.

First time visiting. First off, loved the location. It is within 40 mins of lions head and other attractions in that area and only 10 mins to the Grotto. Second, the park is very well maintained and the owners are very friendly. The sites are so clean and the fire pits were cleaned out. We constantly saw crews cleaning up the campsites as soon as someone left. Third they have full service sites for trailers which is so convenient. The pool, we didn’t use but looks like it’s in great condition and kept clean. We loved being able to sit outside having it so dark and seeing all the stars. There

Went here on my bike tour to stay the night and had an amazing experience. I purchased firewood and got it delivered right to my campsite since I didn't have a car. Got a free fire-starter too!
Campground is very clean and well maintained and there are plenty of amenities including showers and laundry. I was able to get all my gear cleaned and ready for the next part of my trip. Couldn't be happier with my stay here. Thanks Happy Hearts!

We stayed here for 3 nights back in early August and LOVED the park. We’ve stayed at so many private and Provincial parks in the last 5 years, so when I say this was an amazingly clean, quiet, full of amenities and a friendly park, I’m saying this from experience.
The staff was top notch with very friendly customer service. Prices were very fair and reasonable. I saw the staff constantly cleaning and tending to campers requests. It seemed like they never rested. Hehe.
If you’re looking for a nice clean family park that close to everything to do in Tobermory, definitely give Happy Hearts

Beautiful and large tent site perfect for our get away. Not many other people tenting in September which was nice. The store has everything you need to build a fire with some bath and some kitchen supplies, extra tents and air mattress for purchase. Super friendly staff and well maintained facilities. Coin showers and lots of activities to do at the campground. We certainly enjoyed our stay!

I've been coming camping here now for 3 years and I absolutely love this camp ground!
I can't say enough things from how clean the washrooms, the pool to all and extra amenities this campground has. The noise levels are always so good too. Downtown is only a 3 minute drive and the beaches and National park are also a 10 minute drive. Laura and her dad are great, he even taught my sister to build a proper fire haha (it actually works). We always rent a cabin as my parents are a bit older and just the whole experience is wonderful. Thank you to the team from grounds to office. We could not have

This was our second time at Happy Hearts. We love it here! Camp sites are well maintained, some with more shade/privacy and some with more sun depending on your preferences. Bathrooms are cleaned, plenty of activities for everyone, and a store with almost everything you could need. Happy hearts location is perfect making it easy to get right into tobermory, hikes, and beaches. Thanks again Happy hearts for another fantastic visit!

We stayed for a full week at Happy Hearts in August 2021. Our site was large, clean and backed onto Greenspace. We enjoyed the pool, tether ball, laundromat and the peace found in the park. The camp store carries a good assortment of treats, necessities and souvenirs. Most of all the owners were friendly and staff could be found cleaning, trimming trees and cutting grass daily. It was a 12 min bike ride to the Bruce National Park visitor center....great location too! We will definitely return to this park in the future. As a side note we own a 38ft fifth wheel with a motorcycle carrier on the rear

The worst customer service I have ever seen.
I suggest the people always read the negative feedback before making any reservation in this location, because there is always A REASON BEHIND THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS.

I have been coming to Happy Hearts for I think over a decade now. They are a family run location just on the south end of Tobermory. This is a solid camping location with both open grassy campgrounds and treed forest sites. They have the basics... pool for kids, park, simple games like checkers, and bike rentals and horseshoes.
The best thing about this spot is the location when you are travelling to Toberymory/Bruce Peninsula area. It is literally a 3 minute drive to downtown Tobermory.
I see lots of scuba diving groups using this locations, passer through type folks, families, etc etc
