Oliver Irrigation Ltd. made 384 unnecessary service calls in 2004 because of irrigation systems coming on even when it was raining. These calls could have been avoided if the homeowner had a rain sensor. This is why we feel the need to create a special offer for our clients. The following are some basic facts about what's involved in installing an irrigation system. First we locate the pipe that runs from the municipality water supply to your residence. Then the water is shut off for about 2 hrs to allow for a connection tee to be installed to supply water for your irrigation system.
Under section 14 of the Municipal Water Works By-Law No. 4848 the Backflow Prevention Assembly connected to your irrigation system must be tested annually. The water that is used by your irrigation system is supplied by the same source as the water you drink, cook and bathe with.
Pesticides, fertilizers and/or animal faeces can collect in water pooled around your sprinkler heads, creating a potential for the contaminants to be drawn back through the sprinkler irrigation system (by means of backflow or backsiphonage) and into your home.It is for this reason that you must have a properly functioning Backflow Prevention Assembly protecting your drinking water.

UNETHICAL AND CRIMINAL
I just initiated a chargeback with MasterCard requesting that they reverse charges that Oliver Irrigation placed on my card without my consent. This is what I told them...
• In the spring, my husband and I hired Oliver Irrigation (OI) to inspect and start up the sprinkler system of the house that we had just moved into. At the time I made the appointment, OI requested for my credit card information and I provided it.
• OI came, did 15 minutes of work and left. We were not provided with any explanation of what was done. We also did not receive an invoice by mail or

Would give 0 stars (or less) if possible. We moved into a house that had an installed irrigation system installed by Oliver Irrigation. When summer came and I tried to start up the system only the front worked. So, I called them to come take a look and was hoping that they could located the junction box and fix the problem. They showed up, I was not there but my wife was. They were absolutely condescending and rude to her. We were both shocked and WOULD NOT RECCOMEND doing any business with them at all!!! I hired another company that was able to located the box and fix the problem for a fair price

I had them install an irrigation system last year, and this spring, I noticed one of the sprinkler heads wasn't working at all. I asked them to take a look.
1. They did not say what the problem was, and whether it would fall under warranty, or otherwise provide an estimate of the repair cost.
2. Did not provide any information as to the work done.
3. Have abused the credit card information stored in their system from last year to charge for $172 without even talking to me, let alone my approval.
4. Did not provide any invoice at all.
