Thorsness Hardware dates back to 1945 by original founders Obert Thorsness and his son Wilf; Wilf's brother Keith joined shortly after. We have kept the Thorsness name because of its well-known reputation. Thorsness Hardware has had stores in Saltcoats, Bredenbury, Churchbridge and Langenburg. Thorsness Appliance opened in Yorkton in 1988 and is still serving the community to this day.

My mom and dad purchased a Maytag Centennial top load washing machine June 1/15. Machine worked well until February 2016. Now on the rinse cycle it makes terrible noise, and on the spin cycle it literally vibrates its way across the floor and spins 30 degrees from where it started. They have called in several times to have service done on this and… all they are told is "your on the wait list". They have even gone into the store in person to inquire about the repair and are blown off- staff stating "yes- I have taken your phones calls- your still on the list". This has gone on for 2+ months

I can see that someone from the store keeps up on the Facebook page which means someone there has seen my parents concern about the washer and dryer they purchased there. Still no response from the store that… rectifies the problem... Not sure if it's the store or Maytag that will not honour the warranty? A detailed response would be appreciated for the reason my retired parents are having such issues.
