Glenwood Resort is situated approximately twelve miles northeast of Parry Sound off of Highway 124. Nestled amongst maple and white birch only two and a half hours North of Toronto. We offer comfortable accommodations in our housekeeping cottages, safety and relaxation on our sandy beach, and access to boating and fishing.

Services
This secluded three-bedroom cottage is nestled on a rock slope providing privacy for its occupants. Splendid views of the lake are obtainable from either inside the cottage or off the large side deck. Stairs at the side of the cottage lead down to a private dock. The Balsams is 650 square feet and comfortably accommodates up to 6 people.
Is one of our newer cottages. It is a three bedroom, 900 square foot cottage, built high on a rock mound overlooking the marina which provides a splendid view of Lake Manitouwabing. The secluded position of the cottage offers the perfect refuge, surrounded by greenery and forest. Sliding doors open to a 312 square foot deck that includes a covered screened porch which adds an element of tranquility on those rainy days.
The Birches is a two-bedroom cottage on the water, conveniently situated next to the beach. It was fully renovated in 2008 and now offers sliding glass doors that provide easy access to the deck. Joining the deck is a private dock where you can secure your boat or one of our rentals. Try your luck fishing the many bays of Lake Manitouwabing.
This spacious and newly renovated two-bedroom cottage is perched atop a rock mound offering a spectacular view of Lake Manitouwabing. Enjoy your morning coffee from a 250 square foot wrap around deck while listening to the loons and gazing out as the sun sparkles of the water. The is 670 square feet of space that can easily allow for up to 5 people.
This large three-bedroom cottage is perfectly situated high above the shoreline providing a panoramic view of the lake. Stairs at the base of the cottage allow easy access to the private dock on the waterfront. The fire pit is located on a large area of flat rock creating a great venue for evenings filled with marshmallow roasting and watching the moonrise over the lake.

My Family and I stayed at Glenwood this weekend, and it was a fantastic experience, from booking to check out! The Staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. We stayed in The Birches, and it was clean and cozy, right on the water with its own dock. Everything was better than i expected and we will definitely be back!

Our first stay at Glenwood Cottages was in June and just what we needed it was the most relaxing vacation ever. We stayed at the Bayview and it was well equipped, spotless and, super comfortable. Truly a home away from home. We will return in July and again in September. Thank you to the Glenwood Team for all your hard work and making our holiday a five star.

We have been staying at Glenwood with my parents and 2 brothers for our family vacation every August and Thanksgiving weekend for the last 5 years and everyone absolutely loves it there. We have stayed at 4 different cottages over the years and they all have been fantastic although the Balsam cottage became our favourite due to its gorgeous views. The management team & hosts (especially Rudy!!) are extremly friendly and accomodating and it is always a pleasure to see them. The lake, beach and fishing are exceptional! overall great experience in all aspects.

Beautiful, well maintained cottages (of various sizes, we book the Bayview and the poplar) in an amazing family friendly setting. The cottages have everything you need. Just bring a duvet/blanket
Added bonus is the marina and private beach access.
Hosts are super friendly and always willing to help with anything that needed.
It's been our "go to" end of summer retreat for the last 4 years.
Can't wait to go back again this year.

Stayed at the boathouse for the second year in a row. It was great last year and even better this year.Rudy and his family are improving the resort to keep the charm of being outdoors along with the comforts of home.the grounds cottages,roads and beach are all kept in great condition,fishing with Rudy’s pontoon was great. When leaving we booked again for next summer!

Awesome place! Just spent 2 weeks here. Super accommodating and friendly hosts. The cabin was clean and quaint. The beach is a great spot for kids and adults alike. The lake is large, clean and fun to explore by boat. Fishing is good as my husband caught many bass, pike and even a couple of walleye. We are looking forward to returning in 2021.

Our family spent a week in July in the resort. This was our third time in the past 10 years. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. All appliances were working and in excellent condition. Small sandy beach with canoe and kayaks. Small office at the marina had bait and 8 varieties of ice cream for kids and adults enjoyment.
Sandra, Rudy and the family work hard, so people can enjoy their stay. If you need anything, you get respond in the next few minutes, communication is very well organized.

I have been going to this place as a family get together for 3 years now. We have had the best experience and the best time there. Wether its swimming at the beach or having camp fires its the best. The owners are very comfortable to talk to and very helpful if you need anything. The cottages are clean and have most of everything you need to enjoy your stay. This place is a little piece of heaven in the wilderness. I strongly recommended this place to enjoy with your family
