Are you experiencing concussion symptoms more than a month after your initial injury? While the majority of concussion symptoms will resolve in the first few weeks to a month, about 15% of cases will persist beyond this time and continue to cause major issues for people. If you still have concussion symptoms after a month, then you may be experiencing a condition known as Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS).

I came to Dr.Jay after dealing with concussion symptoms for about 3 months. My main concern was brain fogginess, fatigue, blurred vision and lack of focus or concentration. I couldn't be in public or in busy environments due to my symptoms. Before coming across his website, I was tossed around between Neurologists, "Concussion Clinics" and my family doctor. Non was able to provide me with any real diagnosis, support or rehabilitation program. Dr. Jay's approach to treating my post concussion syndrome has helped me get rid of almost all my symptoms. His knowledge, patience, empathy, professionalism

Dr Jay and his team have been able to resolve symptoms of post-concussion syndrome that I've been dealing with for 5+ years. In addition to memory loss, delayed processing time, light and sound sensitivity, insomnia and daily headaches and neck pain, I developed coordination issues in my right leg and a tremor in the right side of my body, along with vision problems. I also developed a variety of intestinal issues, and was diagnosed with SIBO, then a fructose intolerance, and finally leaky gut. After being bounced around neurologists who were reluctant to blame my symptoms on PCS (and one of them

Dr. Jay is very methodical in his approach and focuses on addressing the root cause of a condition vs. treating the symptoms. After I was diagnosed with an auto-immune condition in 2015, Dr. Jay helped me heal by simply changing my diet and I was back at work in 6 months. Highly recommend Dr. Jay as your first stop when searching for a natural solution for any auto-immune condition.

This looked really promising and made me hopeful. I tried my best to bus in from downtown Toronto. I did miss 2 consecutive appointments though and was promptly e-mailed by the receptionist saying I will not be "accepted as a patient." This policy was not made evident to me prior to the fact and I've never heard of such a thing, especially for a paid service. Shame on you, Northoak, treating vulnerable disabled folks like this. Very disappointed.

High School daughter (athlete) with PCS. Speech and memory loss. Debilitating headaches. Personality changes. The functional neurology program at Northoak Chiropractic is second to none. Dr. Jay is leading the way with this program. It has the capacity to help so many who are suffering. Was referred by an ex NHL athlete who is very outspoken about this type of treatment and it's benefits. We are almost done the program and my daughter has her life back. Speech and memory return, no headaches, back to playing the sport she loves. Considering post secondary academics and athletics for next year.

After half a year of suffering with dibilitating side effects from post concussion syndrome, I had no other choice but to fly across the country to stay with my parents. I found Jay's videos on the internet and he was the first practitioner who was able to relay the type of symptoms I was struggling with. Anxiety, clinical insomnia, pressure in my head, balance issues, numbness, eye strain. After one month of seeing Jay I could notice improvement and started to believe I could heal from this and by the third month I felt like myself again. I saw a dozen specialist before I saw Jay and no one offered

When I found Dr. Burness I was experiencing insomnia, daily headaches, memory fog, blurry vision, anxiety, depression. I been experiencing all these symptoms for close to a year with little help from other doctors and health care providers. His knowledge of Neurology is incredible. He cares deeply about his patients which makes all the difference. His protocol for post concussion syndrome works. It's worth the investment if you follow the protocol. The first two weeks of treatment comprised of 6 treatments, and that's all it took to start feeling a difference. I learned a lot about the power of

I cannot say enough about working with Dr Jay Burness and his team. I arrived with several issues that came about as a result of my concussion: headaches, balance issues, spatial awareness, eye problems, anxiety and memory. Dr Burness ran through a battery of tests with his assortment of tools to assess where I was at. He developed a plan which included exercises in the office, homework, special diet and modified as required. I enjoyed working with Wendy who ran through my exercises with me. I am extremely pleased with the results. I arrived at the office seven months post concussion. Quickly I
