Solstice Sun Tanning Studios was started in 1994 by Rob Walker and he still owns the company today. Our first location was in the Westbank area of Kelowna. I was in town for the day and was introduced to the mega bed which was super powerful. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable which helped the experience.
There was no wait and everything was clean. Would highly recommend !!

My wife and I tanned here for the past five years. The owner has gone through an enormous number of staff so we never know who will be at the front desk.
BUYERS BEWARE
After all these years of tanning I was told just before Christmas 2021 that they were taking 2.5 minutes off for every minute of tanning. I was under the impression that purchasing 100 minutes would equal 100 minutes of tanning. Not the case.
There is nothing in writing and they hide this fact.
We are looking at another Salon that is honest about what you are paying for.

Just moved here from Vancouver, and Solstice was the highest rated in the West Kelowna area, so we decided to give them a try.
They have all the beds you could ask for, so line ups aren't an issue. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Literally 5 minutes from our new home, we couldn't be happier with our choice. We were given a free week to try out the beds, and will be making Solstice our new tanning home.

Beautiful inside (when I walked in I felt like I was in Miami or something!) - I've only been in one bed but it was great. This location definitely looks and feels nicer than the one in Kelowna, but the same people work at both locatoins and they're realy helpful. I don't know about all the beds. But I'll definitely be going back. Good prices (I do drop in)
