Ponderosa Pines Family Campground
Ponderosa Pines is the closest campground to Hopewell Rocks and is less than 40 km from both Greater Moncton and Fundy National Park. If you are looking for a picturesque setting, a quiet night's sleep, and lots of opportunity to enjoy real country and outdoor activities, then you've come to the right place.

Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy some of the best camping that New Brunswick has to offer. We only booked 2 days as we were unsure if we would like it. Well 5 minutes of being there and we already wished we had booked longer! The grounds are spotless, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, it's right down the street from the.
Services
Over fifty years ago, Bert and Gertie Hawkes, purchased the property with the dream of building a world-class campground. At that time, the property was a collection of marsh land and bare pasture land. They dammed the marshes, planted all the trees, landscaped the property and made their dream come to life.
Ponderosa Pines proudly offers a number of cabins and chalets for the pleasure of our guests. Located next to the Hopewell Rocks and less than 40Km from Fundy and Greater Moncton, you'll love your time with us. You'll enjoy a wide range of recreation activities at Ponderosa Pines. From nature activities to lake activities and from campfires to our pool, there's fun for the entire family!

Very well maintained campsite. Not only were the sites clean, but the bathrooms and showers were spotless. The owners were very friendly and helpful. An excellent place for very large trailers and motor homes with large pull-through sites. For the outdoor enthusiasts, there are two easy trails that loop around the small lakes that surround the park.

Very nice campground, close to many tourist attractions and some cute stores and good restaurants in Alma. The view of the ocean is spectacular, with a nice walk out to visit the ocean floor at low tide. Great place!

We had a great stay at the Ponderosa Pines Campground. Due to a flight delay, we only arrived around midnight. We called with the campground (Kirk) several times to align on time and how we can self check in. Perfect service and support, beautiful location spotless clean wash rooms. Highly recommendable!

We come here almost every year. The employee/owners are wonderful and love that they respect for all campers here in regard to reinforcing camp rules for all campers. All campers are wonderful, but there are… those that don't consider rules or other campers which is the norm for an odd ball in the crowd (as they say). This place has all the live, scenery, atmosphere for all...Cottages, RV/Camper, and tent sites or sleep along the stars...canoe, kayaker rental and playground, pool and beautiful tended trails. Local area have lots to see. Give this place a 5 star!

Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff from the office to the maintenance crew . Very clean grounds and big wide sites . High grade wi-fi . We were set to stay 2, staying 4. Hopewell rocks ( flowerpots ) 4 minutes away. Moncton not far east and cute little waterside town of Alma not far west . Beautiful drive. Highly recommend you plan on an extra night or two cause you will want to just sit back and relax. More stars .

Absolutely ignorant staff. Never treated so rudely in my life. Rented the chalet and a few friends got tent sites. Was told they were not allowed in the chalet and we weren’t allowed to use the other room. Wouldn’t have been an issue if it wasn’t raining. I could understand if we were a noisy bunch. Luckily did not take away from our trip to hopewell the next day.

We just arrived home from our first time camping experience at Ponderosa Pines
Just were surprised when we arrived at the campground we couldn't have the 2 lots that we reserved and Paid for .
There was no reason exactly why as those 2 lots were not used while we were there..
Also they had already charged our credit card for the 2 nights that we booked..
My understanding when you reserve with a credit card, that secures your booking but they usually don't go ahead and charge your card immediately when the reservation is made...new to us for sure..
Beautiful well run campground but those were

We went for three nights and arrived a day ahead of our reservation. They were very accommodating and helpful. Our campsite was perfect and had a beautiful view. It was also very close to the sights we wanted to see. I recommend this campground for anyone heading that way.

Very disrespectful and money hungry owner. All he cares about money doesn't care about your situation. Was
travelling from Ontario with kids and we have to use sewage emergencyly We paid $30 dollars and he didn't allow us to use the water to clean. First he said we could use the water to clean and came back and said we have to pay another $25. Dishonest person. We meet lots of NB people they all very nice and polite except this owner.
I would never recommend this campground to anyone.
