Have a 23. Love the ride. Bring the gang you have lots of room. Gets lots of looks at the Town Dock. Factory is responsive when you have questions. Steering is tender and takes getting used to. Could benefit from a lobster claw handle a la the Gradys to get in and out. Giving it a 4 due to the Volvo penta trimtabs that pooped out after 3 years. But all in all a fine boat. Wish they built 26 hardtop double engine! She has served us well in the 1000 Islands. Retiring her to Lake Oconee this spring.

I had a Rossiter 17 in the Thousand Islands - my only boat that took me back and forth to an island cottage and that never failed me even in very bad weather. A couple of minor things - condensation in the speedometer that never got resolved - but all in all a great boat. I traded up for a 20’ boat because the 17, while it CAN hold 4-6 people, is ideal for 2-3 adults. 4 max. I don’t have the 20’ boat yet due to Covid restrictions but know I didn’t hesitate for a second to buy another Rossiter.

We’ve had our 23 for 4 years now and it has been an amazing boat. It’s a classic which will surely be with our family and at our cottage on Lake of Bays for generations.
