Having a career with Tulmar Safety Systems means being involved in safety and survival. Every day, our employees contribute to the manufacturing and delivery of products and services that protect people - in the air, on the ground and in the water. Tulmar Safety Systems is an equal-opportunity employer valuing the unique capabilities, career experiences and background of our employees.
For over 25 years Tulmar has been delivering solutions that protect and save lives. Our defence and security products are deployed worldwide on aircraft, armored vehicles and naval vessels. We are an integrated partner in the defence supply chain, delivering products and capabilities directly and in partnership with leading vehicle and systems OEMs.
Protective covers and stowage equipment designed and built by Tulmar are in service on Canada's fleet of LAV and Bison armored vehicles and other military vehicles in North America and abroad. We use high performance fabrics produced to military specifications and the latest in bonding technology to enhance water resistance and extend product life.
Product innovation, collaborative development, and the ability to provide complete system solutions are the drivers for Tulmar's continued success in the survival & rescue product sector. Tulmar holds an expertise when it comes to search and rescue equipment. We carry lines of equipment (as seen below) to assist in the safe rescue of individuals and groups.
LifeRamp is ideal for use where most rescue systems become unsafe - on land or in a watercraft. Its tough neoprene chamber inflates in 8 to 12 seconds to get your rescue team onto the water fast! Using a ramp-to-ramp coupling line, two LifeRamp platforms of similar length can work in tandem to leap from ice floes or get around obstacles and reach victims by the shortest possible route.
