Turkstra Lumber is your source for lumber. We have one of the largest inventories of sheet goods and lumber in Southwestern Ontario. From spruce framing lumber, sheet goods including plywood, O.S.B., and dimensional lumber in pine and hardwood, along with a large selection of engineered wood products (E.W.P.).
We are so proud to serve and be a part of the Dundas community for over twenty years. Since opening, we have become a part of Dundas and grown into the classic, small town lumberyard and hardware store where we know most of our customers by name and still sell nails by the pound. We are passionate about giving back to the community by supporting local charities, events and have become regular participants in the Dundas Cactus Fest.

This review is solely about the customer service Thomas provided. Went to get cedar for a bench project and had the pleasure of meeting this exceptional young man who helped me with selecting and cutting my boards. Thomas went above and beyond to make sure the boards were straight and the cuts were perfect. For this level of service I am prepared to pay premium prices. Thank you Thomas for your kind assistance. The Dundas location is truly blessed to have you.

Turkstra Lumber is where you take the shortest walk in to get the building materials you need fast. As time is money, its where you get what you need and are back on the job quickly, ensuring you're finishing that job pronto. The staff are helpful and the cutting services allow you to save, for example, from having to buy a full sheet of plywood. Rick is a positive abundance of intelligence, willing to go the extra mile, and gives lots of free advice without any expectation for you to buy now. This no pressure salesmanship is refreshing and makes me want to return.
