W.P. Griffin Inc. has been a family owned farming business since 1947. Located in Elmsdale, in the western end of beautiful Prince Edward Island where we are known world-wide for our rich red soil that produces a unique flavour to our spuds. Sitting on 5,660 square kilometres, our farm showcases new table varieties of potato, sustainable farming practices, food safety, and quality.

We strive to make your meal-time experience easy, convenient and tasty. We were the first to market Microwave-ready shrink wrap potatoes in Canada. Our family farm and packaging operation is proud to be the initial branding partner of DoleTM for potatoes in Canada.

W.P. Griffin Inc. packages many different types of potatoes in various sizes of traditional paper, poly, mesh, and poly-mesh bags under brand names such as Griffin, Dole and Bud the Spud.We now also provide size-specific count packs for the food service industry.
