Your brain sends out directions, but sometimes messages don't make it where they need to go. We are trained to clear the interferences in the nerve pathway. When the interference is gone, healing begins. The first step is to determine if you have nerve interference in your spine. We start with a conversation where you describe your health problem and we ask you questions about that problem.
The next step is a hands-on exam, thermal scan, posture analysis, and x-rays. If we see an interference, we tell you what we found. We describe that interference in a report of findings and design a specific treatment plan just for you. I had not realized how much my life was impacted by the headaches and IBS until they were gone.

We've heard this story too many times over the past 30 years. We call it the last resort phenomenon. There is a common belief that chiropractic only helps your back. Nothing could be further from the truth. Chiropractic heals your spine so your body can heal itself-anywhere from your head to your toes.
The spine is rich with nerve receptors in the muscles, ligaments, and joints (proprioceptors). Your spine is the conduit used by your body to send messages to the brain about pain. Your brain sends out healing instructions via the nerve system to a specific destination. But if your spine is out of alignment, those messages don't get where they are supposed to go.
The purpose of chiropractic is to align the spine so the body heals itself. This alignment can be achieved relatively quickly in many cases-but not in a way that's sustainable over the long-term. You'll experience pain relief in the short-term, but the damage hasn't been completely corrected-yet. In most cases, the spine hasn't functioned normally for a long time.

When I first went to Dr. Mitchell I had almost no range of motion in my neck and vomiting from severe pain. He made time to see me as an emergency and started a treatment plan. It's been 3 weeks and I am very thankful I have range of motion back and almost pain free. I would highly recommend Mitchell chiropractic.

Mark is not only an amazing Doctor, he really cares about each and everyone of his patients. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and is always willing to offer suggestions to help improve your overall health. When I had an emergency with my back; he saw me immediately! His receptionist Trish is extremely helpful and friendly, always greeting everyone by name and with a big smile. There is a chiropractor 2 minutes from my home but I drive 1/2 an hour because of the wonderful care I always receive from Mark.

I have been a patient with Dr. Mitchell for close to 40 years. He has kept me active and is always encouraging. I feel when I go to the office he always has good advice, and a wonderful positive view of life. His sense of humor alone is worth going, but the relief I feel with his adjustments is awesome.
