Cosy Insulation & Roofing provides specialized installation of the Weathershield/WalBAR Insulation System in Edmonton, St. Albert and Red Deer. Weathershield is a loose-fill cellulose fibre insulation (CFI) product manufactured from selected recycled paper stock and treated with appropriate additives to resist fire, corrosion, fungi, and pests.
Cosy Insulation & Roofing utilizes a high powered vacuum system that removes loose fill and wood chip insulation. The old insulation and waste is bagged, sealed, and removed from your location. Recently went with these guys for a top up for our insulation in our attic. They provided us with a quote and educated us between fiberglass and cellulose insulation. They came on time, acted professional, cleaned up after their mess and lastly their price was reasonable. A win win in my books.

We have a 1953 built home that had the original wood chip insulation and was updated with pink batt insulation at some point in the 80's. We wanted to get rid of the potential fire hazard of the wood chips and for our second floor to stay warmer in the winter.
I spoke to four insulation companies about the best way to tackle this removal and reinstall of new product. I had to contact two of the companies three times each to get a response from them and when I finally did get in contact with someone they gave me an inflated quote. It seemed like they didn't want to do the work. The third didn't

These guys are fantastic! There are A LOT of choices out there when it comes to roofing. Mike really knows his stuff, and doesn’t pressure you, or trash talk the competition. Their prices are competitive and their warranty was hands down the best out there. We have had 3 roofs done by cosy, plus insulation blown into an attic. They did a great job.

The staff at Cosy Insulation and Roofing were amazing when I called them about water coming through a pot light in the winter. Past history: they had upgraded my insulation a couple of years ago. They came and assessed my roof and removed the snow and noted ice damning. They said they would come back during the summer to see what was going on, which they did. They repaired the problem without taking payment. That is what I call great customer service. I whole heartedly recommend their company for any roofing needs.
