Stacy is a Client Care Specialist who works with our clients and their pets to ensure an efficient and enjoyable experience. Stacy has been a part of the Deer Park team for over 30 years! With her many years of experience in animal care and customer service, we value her role in our clinic. Inspired by her love of animals, Stacy co-founded "Whisker Rescue", a passion project dedicated to giving cats a second chance at a happy and Purrfect life.
Therapeutic Laser is a surgery free and drug free treatment to reduce pain and inflammation. Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open.
Dr. Wright graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Since graduation, she has worked in a mixed practice in Innisfail and then started teaching the AHT course in Olds which she thoroughly enjoyed. She has owned her own small animal practice in Bowden and Olds. During her practice career, she had the pleasure of looking after the working dogs & breeding program for the RCMP police dog training program.

I’ve had a puppy with chronic ear infections and allergies and I’ve gone to several vets local to me but they don’t accommodate me or give her treatments to help, just the same thing that I’ve told them doesn’t help. The vets and staff here are very accommodating and helpful, it’s always worth the hour drive to get my little girl taken care of! They give her exactly what helps her and listen when I tell them what doesn’t work, and have helped me figure out her allergies and give her prescriptions for preventing ear infections, whereas other vets just tell me to “come back if it

We have taken our cats here since we got them and they have always been great with them. The staff seem to genuinely care about our pets. We started taking our dog here as well. His old vet seemed more worried about adding up the bill then making sure he got the best treatment, but not these guys we have felt like the prescriptions and treatment are the best course for our dog and they seem great at understanding the personalities of the animals as well.

I moved my 11 year old Malamute x husky across the country and was referred to Deer park pet hospital by a friend of my husband 2 years ago. He is now an elder dog and the quality of his life is now our focus. Happy to have the excellent medical guidance from the skilled veterinarians and staff for my dogs aging needs.
Doctor Higgins is amazing... I wish he could doctor me! He explains medical needs and procedures very clearly. I have never left there questioning or googling anything the doctor said. So refreshing!

Dr Higgins and Dr Grant are simply wonderful and caring Drs and animal lovers. The care is though and compassionate. The prices at Deer Park Pet Clinic are some of the best if you did shop around. We didn't, we switched to this clinic when our Choc Lab who crossed to Rainbow bridge in 2017 was ill with Cushions disease. We ended up here because of reputation that preceded them. The experience the 2 DRS had was amazing. The knew how to exam a pet and diagnose from that exam, then using diagnostic tests only to confirm their findings. They have state of the art equipment, and the staff is friendly

I've been bringing my large lab-x (Stanley) here for a few years and I've always been happy with the care provided by all of the veterinarians and staff. They are all super kind, patient and diligent. Recently, we were referred to Dr Stock to have Stan in for massage and acupuncture. I'm blown away by the progress Dr Stock has made with Stan in just two appointments. His pain levels went down immediately and his mobility has increased significantly. He gets lots of love and attention during treatment and it's incredibly cost effective. If you have an older dog, I would highly recommend booking

Awesome team, Dr Grant was so informative. He called when he said he would, he listened to my concerns, in a state that was nothing less than frantic after Mia our kitty was hit by a car and her pelvis broke. He explained so kindly my options even offering his personal opinions but yet stating benefits of other treatments. Thank you for taking such good care of my precious little buddy! Even the price was reasonable 🙏😺 rest, and recovery!

Brought our kitten here to be neutered and it was a great experience. We really appreciated that they called us when he was out of surgery to let us know that he was doing good. Really great staff as well, everyone was super nice. Will definitely keep bringing him here in the future for all his vet check ups! Thank you :)

WOW, nothing but WOW, even after 20 years of being this vet hospital client, and knowing Dr Higgins for so long; I am still amazed and wowed by their service! Today, my 13 years old baby, Nina, was having seizures, and when I took her to Dr Higgins (after calling in around 1:00 pm, they took her right in), not only they took care of her immediately, Dr Higgins called me, suggesting that he will take her home tonight, to monitor her, ( I am crying ), and I know he will do ANYTHING to help her not only as a vet, but as an exceptional human being, caring and compassionate person, that I have a privilege
