The Zephyr Cafe has been a favourite among locals, tourists and seasonal Squamish visitors since opening their doors in 2008. While the founders Colleen Myers and Kristin Furtney were on a trip to Baja, Mexico, the idea behind the cafe developed and a vision was formed. They wanted to set up a community cafe back in B.C. where lifestyle, food, coffee and culture would blend seamlessly.

Located in the heart of Downtown Squamish, the Zephyr Cafe offers creative and tasty vegan, raw and gluten-free dishes. We're a progressive cafe that encourages community growth and healthy eating. We regularly host community events and support local artists. She's been in Squamish for 8 years and loves psychology and philosophy.
Services
Quinoa, blackberries, pumpkin seeds, coconut, banana, sesame snaps with your choice of milk. Our amazing Zephyr team bakes an assortment of gluten-free, vegan and raw baked goods daily. Prices and selection vary. Hummus, organic greens, shredded beet & carrot, sliced tofu, red onion, cucumber, tomato, goat cheese, homemade avocado dressing in a whole wheat wrap.

Frequented this place a few times and will always lock in one of their Zephyr Cookies anytime I have a hike on the cards, or looking for a healthy bite to eat. Only thing pulling it back on the 5 stars is the espresso coffee - just seems to vary depending on whose on the machine. But if you're not an espresso fiend, and rate the drip coffee life, then this may well be your spot!

Stopped by here to grab a quick bite before the start of a hike. Excellent coffee drinks and the food also didn’t disappoint. Our breakfast bagel was hot, fresh, and packed with flavors from egg-bacon-cheese.

Cute place with board games, a fireplace and tons of food and drinks options! There is also lots of seating so a nice place to hang out and relax. Loved the selection of games they had as well. Their london fog was amazing, but just a bit too on the sweet side for me - good otherwise!

This place is magical! I had the most amazing experience a sat and drank a perfect oat milk matcha latte and ate the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had whilst staring at snowy mountain peaks, the cashier was so nice and friendly I will definitely recommend this to anyone

There are so many cafés in Squamish and this one stands out as it gave me some old school vibes. Mismatched furniture, dated interior design, kind of matches the overall vibe in Squamish (nothing fancy, everyone’s chill).
I came here for breakfast and the line was short. I ordered a soup and a lavender latte, my husband ordered a chicken wrap. Everything tasted great but the wait for food was long, around 20 minutes or so.
The cutest thing was we were given an action figure after we placed our order. It’s used as a “placeholder” so, when the wait staff brings out our food, they would

Zephyr has good, hearty, healthy and consistent food with plenty of options for all. The atmosphere is warm, funky and welcoming with plenty of space both inside and out. The staff is always friendly and the staff turnover is low which tells me it is a good place to work. Zephyr is my favorite place to grab a tea and a snack and relax with a book by the fireplace. Good tunes as well.

Healthy food choices and friendly staff plus an old school Squamish vibe in the heart of Downtown. The Zephyr is a staple of old timers, locals and nomadic climbers from around the globe making this a great place for people watching.

I ordered a vegan falafel wrap late yesterday and received what looked like a veggie wrap. The wrap had mostly carrots and greens with a small brown insert which may have been a falafel? I also received some taco chips on the side. That's it. The wrap did not look like it had any hummus in it, so I asked for a small container of hummus but ran out after eating the first half of the wrap. I asked for a top up and was told that they usually charge extra for this and so they would give me some avocado dressing instead.

Feeling rather humiliated for asking for something that I believe should

Great latte. Great, healthy, vegetarian and vegan food options, with some meat options as well. Didn't have any but pastries and baked goods looked great, with plenty of gluten free options.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, spacious (many more so now because of Covid), a bit of a hippie vibe, will go again for sure.

For the price, it was as expected except my standing rock was basically a spinach Fiesta. Doesn't add much to the meal other than trying to convert me into a rabbit. In other news, my gf tried the ciad drink and thought it was lovely and her wrap was decent. On the pricier side but HEALTH = PRICE! #Trendy

Unsure about the main dishes, but the drinks, deserts and snack selection is incredible. They've got a huge variety of superfood and super grain items, gluten free, dairy free and seed items available. You'll spot the "hippies" here. Great spot to grab some healthy fuel before a hike. Also has some interesting hostel type decor vibes.

Squamish is small town n if you wanna find good coffee then head straight here. Local and authentic to taste. Very easily accessible from road side parking and right in the middle of the town makes this place busy during normal working days. Even during covid time , it was steady. No one else had their doors open but them with all the precautions.
We ordered house made vegetarian burger which was stuffed with enough salad and house made patty of beans and chickpeas which made it little dry to eat but otherwise good. Another vegetarian wrap which could have been better. They have pre pack kombucha

Hippy, not hipster, hippy but nice kind of hippy cafe. Lots of people working and a limited but decent menu post-hiking at the chief.

Salads run about 14CAD, with protein adds around 4 CAD. Wraps, bagels and a few quinoa bowls available.

Coffee was tasty!

The right combo for us- a vegan and non-vegan. Open till 11pm on Sunday (it's June). We had a quinoa bowl and veggie lasagne. They offer pecan balls as a protein choice along with bacon, chicken or tofu. Who does that?!

Yummy looking lemon pie, gigantic gluten free cookies (not too sweet), organic beer, espresso, cool music m, vibe, board games in a wonderful relaxed and airy space. Nice people too.

Wish we could replicate this cafe. The BEST!

Came here for coffee after a friend recommended it. I was really excited to try a new coffee place and even happier that their coffee is organic. You can tell this place loves their locals and they love them back!!
I got a 16 oz cappuccino with oat milk and sugar free vanilla. It. Was. Heaven. So very creamy and flavorful, it truly hit the spot!!
They have a wide variety of dairy free milk (score!!) but a limited amount of sugar free syrup (and no sugar free chocolate for mochas). This does not surprise me as this cafe seems to truly cater healthy, wholesome options to their customers, but it

Love this place and the atmosphere is perfect. Fairly big and unique, this place offers excellent food with a healthy twist.

I ordered the rice bowl (bud subbed for quinoa) and added tofu and the peanut satay. Portions are a fairly decent size and definitely filling. Tons of grated beet and carrots top this dish. And holy flavour town! The satay is so delicious! I really enjoyed this dish.

I got a vegan and GF cookie to go. It was the size of a puck and very dense. Huge is an understatement. Tons of raw nuts make this perfect to take hiking!

The staff (possibly owners) are incredibly sweet and

We ate at Zephyr health food cafe and it's frequented by a hippie crowd. A good range of brekkie and lunch food like salads and soups. hI got a quinoa salad with with chicken and a satay dressing as well as a orange juice. They also sell vegetarian and vegan food. It was a super long wait (long line) but the food was good.

Perfect delicious lunch. Very cool cafe on main street (?) downtown Squamish on a beautiful June day with the dog.
My partner had a quinoa bowl and I had a rice bowl. Both were absolutely delicious. Mine with the peanut sauce, sprouts, beets, carrots, and leafy greens was sooo good. Portions were quite big. My partners quinoa bowl - also delicious.
I also enjoyed a delicious iced coffee.
Thanks Zephyr for adding to an already great day!

Another excellent place to eat at in town! Fresh, healthy ingredients. Everything tastes really good. We were a big party of 8, so finding seats inside was a challenge when it was also late lunch hour. (Especially when smaller parties took the large tables already)

We ended up splitting a blue shake smoothie and the three of us ate quinoa bowls with tofu. Two of us had the sesame dressing and one had the peanut sauce. Can be a bit pricey depending on how much food you want to order, but eating right comes with a price tag.

I liked their table

We were looking for something to eat and came up on this place. It has a vegan/vegetarian feel, but they did have meat options. They serve breakfast all day and have wraps, sandwich, salads, and soups. We liked the split/pea soup with tortilla chips. I couldn't help noticing that the cook was grabbing chips with her bare hands and not using gloves. Service took a long time. We waited 20-25mins for our food. We only ordered 2 cup soups and 1 chicken avocado sandwich which was the highlight to my meal. They give you a toy airplane instead of a number to put on your table so they can determine
