Truly an amazing salon. I've been tanning at location for 11 years. It's very clean & the staff are professional who welcome you with a smile & friendly face. Best tanning bed's around! Absolutely loved both experience's I've had at planet sun. Both times I felt very welcome and comfortable. I have very fair skin so sunless tanning is best for me I find, the first time I went the girl helping me was so helpful and picked.

A High Pressure bed that gives you instant colour, as well as a deeper and longer lasting tan. This 200 watt stand up booth, with 2 meter bulbs, provides an even tan from head to toe, ensuring total body coverage.
Before you get into your tanning bed, use a professional indoor tanning lotion to double your colour in one session to make your tan last twice as long. After every shower, we highly recommend using a moisturizer to enhance and extend the life of your tan. To build a base, continue to increase your time upon every visit as long as you avoid burning, and by moving up bed intensity levels, you can achieve your desired tan!.
When UV light shines down on the skin, the UVB starts the tanning process by stimulating melanocytes - pigment-making cells found at the base of the epidermis, causing the melanocyte cells to produce melanosomes, which contain melanin - the protein that turns brown and gives your skin its tan.
When UVA shines down on the skin it darkens the melanin that has been produced, and oxygen coming from the blood stream is required for UVA to complete its job, darkening the pinkish melanin and turning it brown, which is why good blood circulation is important for your tan.People choose to tan for psychological and physiological reasons.

Clean, friendly, great service and great tan!
I have only had great experiences when visiting Planet Sun. I have never had to wait for a bed and it has always been very clean. The staff always gives safe and knowledge based advice. I especially like that they don't allow for back to back sessions in other words we must wait 24 hours before we can return. This is putting our safety before business and money - not many companies would do this nowadays.
I highly recommend this place!

Stella and the team are very professional and always reccomend a tanning time that is suited for my skin tone. They have a variety of beds too that I switch between in summer and winter months. 10/10!

Friendly staff and a good tan . I spent a lot of money here and bought the platinum package since it was the only one with unlimited tanning that would allow me to use the highest end tanning bed. After being sold on that and spending 150$ , I was told after that I would not be able to use any of the high end tanning beds until I had a stronger base tan. In addition , they do not allow for tanning on an everyday basis, only every other day - even through there are plenty of other places that allow for daily tanning.
In conclusion, I feel cheated out of about $50, and wish the company would have

Today was my first time visiting planet sun and I was greeted by Stella! The service was fantastic she was so friendly and knowledgeable and extremely patient with explaining all the beds packages and lotions.
The store was very very clean there was plenty of hand sanitizer around the store and in each room.
I was so excited to do my first tanning session and after one session I love the results and can’t wait to go back!
10/10!

I used to go here 10 years ago and then I moved away. Returning back to the area, it was a no brainer to go back here. They are very thorough in explaining their packages based on your use and what you’re looking to achieve and I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. And if they have promos they would advise you on all the choices to help you make an informed decision. To me that’s very important. Glad to be back!! :)
