After hairstyling for over 13 years, Chelsey has determined that the work has been her calling ever since she was a little girl. She's worked here in Vernon her whole career, and she's travelled as a colour educator and stage artist for the last eight years. Chelsey has trained internationally and nationally and currently works as a colour educator for Joico.
She chose hairstyling because it was a natural passion of hers, and she stayed in the industry because of the relationships she gets to create and the growth that it has given her. She learns something new every day, and the relationships formed from this mean the most to her. As a glitter-loving person, Chelsey continues to enjoy her work helping people feel their own version of beauty.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Raven Studio, I was in the other day for an appt. It was a short notice ask on my part and Chelsey, the owner, was able to get me in between cuts. I also met another lady there that felt it was a great place and we had a little visit. I came away thinking it was just a really nice atmosphere. Thank you!

I have been going to Joeann since June and seeing her in her new space and how happy she is, is amazing. It is a very relaxing clean environment. Highly recommend. I see Aeran for nails. I can go in with the craziest ideas to try and she is always willing to try and also makes it better then I expect. Photos are from her recent work she has done for me.

I coloured my hair for the first time in my life and it turned out Beautifully!!! Thank you so much Joeann for doing an amazing job and making me feel so comfortable during the whole process. At first we didn'… t get the cut quite right but she squeezed me in within a week to re-cut and now it's PERFECT! I am so happy! Definitely recommend to everyone, this is the place to go!

I had my nails done by Aeran. What a treat as I don't really have nice nails, as I am a painter. But she made my natural nails look high end and even let me go wild with the colour choice. I was able to relax in a private room and listen to music while she transformed my hands! She was pleasant to visit with as well, letting me tell my stories and fabulous bonus was the massage she gave my hands and forearms! Wonderful! I originally gave my experience and haircut at Raven Hair Studio 2 stars. The owner, Chelsey, reached out to me directly to find out more about my experience. We made arrangements for me to go back to the salon so Chelsey could make some adjustments to bring my haircut closer to what I wanted, even though she didn't do my original cut. Chelsey was very professional and great to deal with throught the entire process, and I am much happier with my haircut after the adjustments.

Absolutely loved having my hair done by Joeann! She's talented and made me feel sooo beautiful when I left the salon. I left the salon with healthier looking hair and softer hair. Great atmosphere and the staff… was beyond professional and friendly to me and each other. I was very impressed that Joeann talked me through the steps and she turned my flat brown hair into a work of art. She also knew I wanted to keep my hair long and never pushed for me to chop it off or go shorter than my 2 inch trim I requested.
